its a great hotel to stay and relax , even if you are on a business tour. the rooms are big and spacious and have a great view of the sukhumvit skyline from the rooms. it reflects the royal culture of thailand. professional staff with good english speaking quality.
the food is amazing with varieties of thai and chinese food. had a great stay here the hotel is rated as 3 star but actually is at par with 5 star hotels . rooms having great facilities with bathtubs.
will surely be staying there again when in bangkok.

Room Tip: take rooms on the higher floors as the hotel building is 40 storey's high , to have a great view of the skyline through the huge windows.

Located right in the centre of the city , this is a great hotel to make your basse while travelling across bangkok. Everything is nearby. The timings for the breakfast are well specified and i believe that getting up early to have the breakfast is totally worth it as they have a nice spread which covers almost everything. You have everything that you need in the room which is nice.
Overall a decent hotel to stay in while travelling with family.
A mix between luxury and budget.
Recommended for anyone who has a little extra money to spend on stay.

Good Hotel...31 stories...!!!
Right in the center of the city..close to many Malls and office places, markets, etc.
Only thing is....they do not give the tea kit in your rooms. You need to pay for the same.
Breakfast...not for Vegies...
Good staff....and very helpful.

Room Tip: Take the rooms on the higher floors as due to the busy streets you may get disturbed in the middle of the night by sound.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the Royal Benja last week as a stop off on our way home from a holiday in New Zealand. We had been very happy with the hotel although we found the area a bit dodgy but handy for the Skyrail. However our stay was marred with an experience we had on Tuesday 11th March as we were leaving. We had a note in our room the previous day from the local tour company to say that a taxi would pick us up at 5.40pm on Tuesday evening to take us to the airport for our return journey to the UK. We had been waiting in the foyer since about 5pm and when no taxi had arrived by 5.50pm I asked the young man on the reception desk if he would mind phoning the number on the note for me to check that the taxi was coming. He said there were pay phones in the hotel but when I explained that we had used all our Bahts he just shrugged his shoulders and told me to go and "sit down madam" as it would probably arrive and that he would not phone. His attitude was not what I would have expected from someone in the hospitality profession especially to an older person in a foreign country. As it happened our taxi did not arrive and had it not been for the help of the doorman of the hotel, who could see that we were becoming very anxious, and his help in phoning and arranging help for us I dont know what we would have done. As it was we arrived at the airport with very little time to spare but at least we caught our plane which we would not have done if I had "just sat down" as ordered by the male on reception whose name was something like Sunya or Sinya.

The hotel is within walking distance to a BTS stop and at the heart of the city so it's easy to navigate. The room is ok and with good price, spacious and clean although a bit old. Free wifi only available at the lobby and you have to pay 300 Baht for a 24 hour wifi connection. Food are great, room service are nice and always smile, thanks. However, I have terribly bad experience in the Benjaporn Meeting Room. There's sticky chewing gum (!) on my seat cover and I sat on it without knowing. It damaged my pants and I must returned to my room to change because it was so obvious. There was no apologize from the staff when I informed it. They changed the seat cover but the damage was done.
