We arrived here straight from the airport and were immediately impressed with what we saw. However, no one came to help us with our luggage- yet there were 2 porters standing inside. In addition, reception demanded that we pay a £2000 deposit. When we explained that we have only just arrived they were not understanding in the slightest. We offered to pay after we had been to the cash machine. They were not happy with this and demanded dollars- to which we only had 50 on us. Considering I had already payed for the room and my card details were with them I thought this was too pushy! We were place on the 7th floor (a smoking floor) as this was the only room with a double left. They assure me it would not smell- it did, of course it did!!
The room was spotless and the bed very comfy. Breakfast was delicious- a huge variety! We also used the gym and the pool facilities. The restaurant food was average but well priced.
The hotels location is good as you can walk to the markets and restaurants, however at night it transforms into a nasty road. My partner and I did not feel safe. As soon as it gets dark, all sorts of people appear. I would pay more and be more central to silom.

We loved this hotel as it was super affordable, but the look, feel, and amenities were superior to it's price. This hotel is modern and the room was impecable. I loved the cool toilette in the restroom, it's something you'd expect to find in Japan. It's also conveniently located to a metro station. Can't remember which one, but if you want to save time and money, this is the way you want to travel in BKK.

Nice and clean, with very helpful staff across all sectors. Great buffet breakfasts with plenty of well prepared food as expansive as you could expect but they don't do a similar setup for lunch or dinner.
Only one resturant and the style and quality of the fare on offer is 7/10 at best. Wine spirits & beer are limited to one or two choices only. The hotel does not have a BAR for one to treat even a moderate case of parched throat. A small intimate cocktail lounge/bar could easily be accommodated in the one & only resturant to meet and have pre dinner drinks. The pool is large,clean and ideally located on the ground floor just 10/12 mts across from the hotel reception/checkout area. There should be a pool bar located at the opposite end of the pool where the spa/massage facility is idealy located

very classy and upmarket
rooms are too small
no views out the windows
full electric toilet and room blinds was weird but acceptable
tiled corridors did little to stop the noise entering our rooms
long walk in foyer to get to elevator

Very clean and nice rooms with huge shower, as I mentioned, hotel contains best restaurant, with good prices for its quality. If you decided to eat there, then choose an option, in which you can order anyfood you want (unlimited portions!) from the card for 300 baht, which is great.

Room Tip: They have toilets with control panel :o

Stayed there 4 days. It was on the rama 4 road, and five minutes from Samyan stop, and maybe 100 bahts(by toktok) away from the skytrain.Around the corner /in front and to the sides (again 5 minutes stroll) are road side stalls and foodstalls -tasty and cheap. 40 to sixty Bhts wil get you a good big bowl of nutritious noodle complete with pork or intestines or fishball, depending on what your finger pointed to!
Hotel itself was new, refurb, bathroom up to date and new techs. Big TV and toileteries, Best of all is the buffet breakfast with hot and cold food, hot noodles, porridge, sunny side up or fresh friend eggs...etc. Spacious lobby with the swimming pool infront. They are doing dinner and lunch offers, so those who visit the hotel this month (feb ) will be in for a treat. If you want to, you have a microwave and big fridge for those midnight snacks.

For tourist attraction, we got a 150 toktok to WAt Pho and maybe about the same for the grandpalace.

we stayed there for 3 nights at january...beautiful,spacious hotel,spotlesly clean,very nice service all around,and excellent breakfast:)
our room was very good,bed is just hard enaugh&huge,shower is excellent,wifi available all around hotel...
if ever in Bangkok again love to stay there!
