Very historical and charming place. Environment is very local with streets selling souvenirs. Just do what the devotees did and you will truly enjoy.

One of the most beautiful temples in Bangkok if you just pay attention to the detail. Of course, there are more outstanding temples around the city. This makes for perfect introduction though.

In Bangkok, at least once a squall everyday. Visit this temple after rain. Tourists take picture of the reflection on the water surface with real beautiful temple building. Calm and beautiful.

This is the most beautiful temple I have seen in Bangkok, although I do not know them all. I visited at least three or four with a tour agency and the marble temple really caught my attention as the views are so nice, with white marble everywhere, I heard it was imported from Italy by King Rama. He must have been inspired. If you do not have to visit Rama 5's palace in Ayuttaya (former capital of Siam, which existed before the kingdom of Thailand) then go ahead, this is the one you have to see.
