“Worth a visit if you are into this sorrt of thing”
Reviewed 27 March 2013

This is good value at 100 baht entrance with a complimentary bottle of water provided. It's an impressive place with magnificently ornate buildings and more buddhas than you could shake a stick at. I suppose it depends on how much you like to look at temples but it is definitely worth a visit.

Read up on the scams based around this place before visting but don't worry about it. They are easy to spot.

As someone with no religion what I can't understand is how the authorities allows these scams to be openly perpetrated outside a revered temple such as this. Perhaps it is just me but I would have thought that this was the last place this should be happening?

“Interesting Place”
Reviewed 27 March 2013

Crowded, but interesting to see. Taking a tour would have been better. I walked around by myself and didn't get as much out of the visit as perhaps I could have.

“Free entrance!”
Reviewed 27 March 2013

It beautiful and just a stones-throw from the very steep Wat Po, but the best part is that is free!
Make sure you wear clothes to cover your shoulders and legs otherwise they give you the most awefull lime-green overall-dress to wear. It was quite humiliating as I was the only one wearing it...

“Lovely walk around”
Reviewed 27 March 2013

The atmosphere is great, quiet and beautiful. Its great for a stroll. Not to big, also fun for small kids to have a run around in this busy city.
