“Another stunning sight.”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

It was facinating to learn the history of the Emerald Budda and see it . I just wish I could have photographed it from inside. You can position ones self out front and with a good camera , zoom in through the open doorway for a photo.

“Take the free tour”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

This place was amazing. I am really impressed by the patterns and designs. Better arrived earlier as it was blazing hot in the afternoon. Take the Chao Phraya express boat for only 15 baht to arrive at this place. Dress appropriately or you will be denied entry.

Please note that the entrance fee (500 baht) is included with Vimanmek Palace ticket, so please do NOT throw your ticket away.

“Amazing craftsmanship, take a tour”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

Do - go early before the hordes of tourists show up, get a guide to show you around, the history is very interesting, bring water..... it gets soooo hot!!!

Don't - show up in the middle of the day in the heat with busloads of tourists

Amazing. Very much part of what makes Bangkok magical. Take the time to soak up all the details and hear the mythology and history of the architecture and design.
