“Don't blink”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I would highly recommend going with a guide though as my first trip through I actually missed the Emerald Buddha as I thought I was looking for something much larger.

“Stunning, a must see when in Bangkok”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

Even at a staggering 500THB per person, the money is well spent for a few hours of gazing at the plethora of ornaments, paintings and statues. I had to get a pair of rental pants from the counter, which went fairly smoothly all in all. 200thb per piece - you get it back when you return it.
Bring plenty of water (and maybe food), there is only one place just outside the palace and they don't have a lot on offer.
