location : good
price : good
recommended? : yes

strategically located next to Surasak BTS and plenty of taxis to get you everywhere in town.
service is good.
room decor is fantastic. twin bed is huge for a boutique hotel.
the whole hotel is very with dim light so if you are not a huge fan of those then you might not like it. very modern.
one let down though is the pool is closed early at 7/8pm.

booked this for my mom to stay and she loved it.

Room Tip: ask for the one facing the main road :)

A very new and clean hotel which is literally next to the BTS Skytrain (Surasak Station).

The modern decor of the hotel may not be to everyone's taste, just look at photos on their website and decide for yourself. I found the rooms spacious with a very big bathroom. Had a rain shower and a nice bath tub by the windown with a great view, only thing is if you face the back, there will be an apartment block which can see inside your bathroom.

Hotel staff were all very nice. The rooftop bar on 38th Floor had good views. The small swimming pool on 11th Floor is not really for swimming laps but great for relaxing or having a drink, also with good views of the area. We also tried a massage at the Spa which was also quite good with 50% off promotion at the moment.

Because we were concerned about possible disruptions and traffic jams, we used the BTS Sky train exclusively on this trip, and this hotel was perfect for that. From the airport it took under an hour to get to the hotel. Just take the "City Link" to Phayathai station and then transfer to BTS Skytrain to Surasak Station. Just beware that with heavy luggage, you will have to carry it down some stairs at each station (all the escalators only go up).

Except for the Blue Elephant Thai restaurant across the road, there wasn't much within walking distance to the hotel. However, with the unrest in Bangkok, this hotel is located away from the normal protest areas but still only 4 BTS stops to Siam and Central world if you want to go in. The Sathorn Pier is only 1 BTS station away so getting to Asiatique Night Market is also very easy. And if Patpong is your scene, thats only 2 BTS stops away.

All in all, I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back again.

Room Tip: High Floor. The rear facing rooms are quiet but also face an apartment building to the side.

Compare to it's 5 star neighbor hotel, which has it's advantage of direct link bridge from BTS, this hotel definitely has all it takes to be one of the best as well.

Spacious, modern and well decorated room. WiFi is strong and fast. I was greeted with a welcome drink and complimentary continental breakfast. Staffs are friendly and attentive. I just felt so welcoming every time i come back to this hotel. The hotel is not so busy during my stay, so I feel more privacy compare to it's neighbor hotel which I stayed before. For a little less you pay for this hotel, I think it's very worth it. Besides, this hotel is just located directly beneath the Surasak BTS station. Good if you lazy to walk a long way back to the hotel especially during the humid summer.

Regrettably the room doesn't has a Safety Box. And the bath tub is very close to the opposite condo. Otherwise it'd be just perfect. Would love to stay here again.

A stylish place just next to a Skytrain stop - so getting around is easy. Rooms large and with fantastic bath and huge walk in shower - comfy bed too and nice toiletries. The rooftop Bar is a bonus with great views over Bangkok. Outside sWimming pool is also lovely with again great views. My plug converter didn't work (did elsewhere on my trip) so was offered a loan by night desk staff - then advised not possible due to other guests not having returned so that wasn't great. Alternative was to charge my IPAd etc at reception - so I guess a compromise that worked okay. Breakfast was continental and served at your table - so just one cup,of coffee etc. so would I stay again - given the rates I got yes I would ?

Mode tries too hard to be stylish and pretentious.

The staff is uninterested, unhelpful and snobby. The hotel's design fails at delivering their pretentious message by overdoing the details, for instance both the rooms and the main areas are too dark, too edgy and overall too inconsistent.

The hotel is located in the middle of Sathorn road just a few minutes from the BTS ( Bangkok's fairly efficient railway) – Although it might seem as an excellent location, Sathorn road is constantly jammed which means that Taxi's will either refuse to take you there or overcharge you, so I'd recommend sticking to the BTS.

We were charged more than what our reservation had stated but managed to spot it on the last minute. When asking for directions or any kind or advice about the city we were pointed to the tour desk, which always tried to upsell us unnecessary and overpriced tours.

I have to admit that they provide pretty good toiletries though.
