“Great hotel”
Reviewed 27 April 2013

Great hotel staff really friendly and helpful they couldn't do enough for us!Location of the hotel is good and close to all the attractions however taxi drivers weren't to sure where it was as its a new hotel. When out in Bangkok we always used the bursiri hotel as a drop of point as it seemed to be well known and was just around corner,if you choose this hotel take a print out of it on a map and their telephone number to help the taxi man from airport. The hotel was really clean and really modern a really quirky and a great place to stay in Bangkok!!

Room Tip: Worth getting breakfast!

Perhaps it was the fact we were just arriving in South East Asia for the first time, to start our two month tour but we definitely experienced some 'culture shock' upon arrival at the hotel. It was early evening/night and there seems to be quite a bit of prostitution around. Either way, the hotel itself was a great find. New (so much so that the driver had to stop and ask for directions), well equipped and clean, the rooms were fairly spacious and well presented. Wi-fi worked really well and the morning we decided to have breakfast at the hotel, we found it quite nice, with a good offering.
Staff at the front desk were all very nice although their English was not great; on our last day we needed an early cab to a less used train station and whilst the cab was booked with no problems I think the instructions were not passed to the driver very precisely.
Location wise, we walked everywhere (despite, again, the neighbourhood being a bit dodgy) and it was pretty easy and quick to get to all the 'old town' highlights.
All in all I would definitely stay again - modern, super clean and comfortable rooms with fast wi-fi...that's all we need!

Very nice and clever interior design throughout the whole place. Great size rooms with little balconies to take a look at the street life from above. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Haven't tried the food but the coffee is very good (nespresso).
The location is awsome, it's in the middle of Bangkok's old town and therefore in walking distance to all the important sights.
I would recommend it to all my friends!

This hostel is very near the grand palace, walk distance, Easy to find. Special decoration made it feel great. The breakfast taste good, and the price are ok. Every room has Balcony and window. Very clean with friendly staff. But the front desk just so so.

Room Tip: Opposite the main street will get more quite, good for sleep.

Great hotel, luxurious new rooms with all the trimmings for €35 a night, a steal:-) the staff are super friendly & helpful, they know the area really well, I was looking for a doctor they ordered a taxi for me and gave him directions to the nearest best place. The open lobby & cafe is lovely to hang out in & watch the world go by. There's lots happening out on the street so you really get a feel for real Bangkok street life. I would highly commend this hotel.

Room Tip: Front rooms could be a bit noisy, we had a back one with no street noise.

I stayed here for just one night, but enjoyed the overall feel and design of the hotel. Loved the openness of the lobby and the integration with the cafe. Great design throughout, and still smells new. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the neighborhood. I felt a little uncomfortable walking at night, so I suggest it may not be the best option for a solo female traveler. Otherwise, it seems to be fairly traveler friendly and very close to Khao San road.

Me and my wife stayed in Warehouse Bangkok for 4 nights. We went to the hotel by taxi from the airport and it was strange the driver didn't know the address. We showed him our voucher, but he couldn't read it because he cannot see well :) After stopped 2 times to ask for directions, finally we found the hotel (the transfer costed 241 baht, and the distance was 36 km - the driver turned on the taxi-meter). It was a bit scary because there were a lot of ladyboy around the hotel and seemed we are in the centre of a slum - but it was only the first impression, we felt safe during our staying and haven't happened any unpleasant event. As we entered our room, we knew we had chosen perfectly - thanks to tripadvisor. The room was extremely clean (which is our main point) and well equipped (free drinking water, air condition, TV, hairdryer, minibar, towels, slippers, shampoo and shower gel, hot water, safe deposit box, free and quite fast wifi and lot of useful information about Bangkok especially the neighbourhood). The hotel was designed in industrial style and we liked it very much.
The staff was very kind (especially the girls who served the breakfast) and helpful. We ordered a suit (from Golden Suit what I do not recommend) which wasn't delivered in time, and the staff in the reception helped us to solve this problem. Thanks for them again. The only negative can be mentioned about the staff is their english knowledge. Our english is not too good, but they spoke worst then us.
The breakfast was delicious and everything was clean around us. There were 7 dishes on the breakfast menu: Asian BF, American BF, Continental BF, Omelette, Fried-egg and 2 type of sandwiches. I think it is quite a large selection, we were satisfied with the choice. We tried asian, american and continental BFs and the sandwiches - we liked all of them. The breakfast was served in the lobby which is opened - you can see and feel the traffic on the street. We liked it but it can be annoying.

Positives:
- Very good location: all the main sights in walking distance
- Extremely cleanliness (fresh beddings and towels, no bugs in the room etc.)
- Kind staff
- Delicious breakfast
- Modern style, everything in good condition
- Fast free wifi, well equipped room
- Good price for value: THB 1950 / night with breakfast

Negatives:
- Very noisy street which was annoying during the night
- There was a small problem with the shower - the pipe of the cold water was dripped during the shower so the water was quite hot. But it was a very small problem.
- The walls were thin, so on the last night we couldn't sleep well, because some "polite" guests in the next room were loud till 4am.

To summarise the above, it was a very good choice, we were very satisfied and enjoyed (almost) every minutes in the hotel. We recommend the Warehouse Bangkok only people who like modern environment and progressive style hotels. Also recommend if you want to stay in walking distance from the main sights of Bangkok. But we don't recommend people who usually stay in big hotel chains (e.g. FourSeasons) and expect the same circumstances and facilities.
