I stayed at this hotel with a Gate 1 tour group. The amenities are typical business hotel - good wifi (request password at front desk), two bottles of water a day, spacious rooms, typical breakfast buffet with Asian and western fare. Hotel is not in main tourist area, but it's only a five minute walk to the underground metro that will get you anywhere quickly (buy a multiple day pass if you'll be staying many days; lines for tickets at metro were often long). If you're not up for public transit and want to do tourist things, opt for a different hotel. There is a small mini-mart in parking lot of hotel for quick bottled water and snacks.

We checked into this hotel at 11.30 p.m and the front desk service was excellent. Surprisingly they did not even ask to look at our passports or credit cards. We were part of a Gate 1 Travel Group so perhaps that made a difference. At any rate, we were shown to a large, comfortable room very quickly.

This hotel is not new and it is a long way to the City Center. However, it is very near the subway and several local markets. Since our transportation to the city center was provided, that was not a problem for us. We discovered a very nice massage salon just across the parkway and used that for two days. The cost was $15.00...great bargain. I would not consider this a four star hotel, but it was comfortable. The restaurant was excellent,

Room Tip: This hotel is in a quiet area so most of the rooms should be okay

I stayed there for a meeting and provided this hotel. The location of this hotel is a bit far in my opinion and not for tourists who need things in the central.

This hotel has a lot of tour group from china, means the location are really far.

I was picked up by the company who invite me, so it was ok for me. But if you need to go find food somewhere is a bit hard at night. You can take cab to the big c around 50b, they have foodcourt there. The buffet dinner nearby the hotel building is a bit boring and the halal restaurant mostly selling fried stuffs.

Been going to thailand staying in a few hotels, this hotel doesnt have a good breakfast. Its quite boring for thailand.

Room was huge, nice pressure of water, hot water working well bed comfortable too. Nice well renovated room. The room are nice but not the location.

If you dont mind getting a huge room and a little walk to the mrt
Is ok. But i prefer to add a little more to stay in the middle of everything like novotel at siam, unless i got a free stay again and cant choose which hotel i should use then why not.

A little fishy about this hotel is when we check in at 2pm, they cant find the reservation under our name. They said we should open another room.
Then we decided to leave our bags and go around and check in again once they found our name.

At7.30pm they still said no reservation is under our name. They told us to open another room for 1800b. When we call the company and gave the phone to them and they finally find it in a second.

In the morning they know we are staying two person and they wrote 1 person staying during breakfast and they ask us to pay for another 1 person for breakfast.

Isnt it funny. After telling them, even though there are one person staying in one room, that one person can invite one person to join them for breakfast. Finally after a few minutes not giving in they are giving up.

No idea, but may be thats just the way they take extra cash.

We stayed here for 3 days to join one of the Gate1 tour, after staying at the Novotel Ploenchit hotel for 5 days in the center of the city on our own. No way this hotel is 4 stars. Everything seems to be outdated and old. The room window view of the canal was like looking at a polluted dump and smelly. The room size was good but very old carpet and same as the hall way. The Wi Fi was very good. There is nothing around the area. Unless, you are doing something around this area otherwise it is much better to stay in the center of the city. The MRT is around around 10 minutes walk that can lead to the Skytrain by Asok station(15 minutes ride) or the Bang Sue station (10 minutes). The quality of the breakfast was average even though there were lots of varieties. The front desk staff were poor and never smile. If you ask them to do something they will point to another person even though they stand there and do nothing.

The staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are a little dated, but designed with good taste and very spacious for Asia. The electrical outlets are designed to accept Asian and American plugs, which is a nice touch. The extras, such as dining, are a little expensive, but with the location, there are many close places to dine.

Stayed here for 3nights. The staffs are friendly and helpful.the room was squeaky clean.the hotel is near to chatuchak market.took us about 10-15mins to reach there.cost of taxi is about 75baht which is consider cheap (about SGD3 only).
As i was too lazy to move around to look for salon,i've decided to have my hair done at the hotel's salon instead.it's a small decent salon.had my haircut, wash and blow dry @ 500baht.love the cut.not bad...
