“Good Indian food”

I was there twice. Every time the food was delicious. I ate vegetarian dishes, they prepared it medium spicy like we wanted. The staff could speak english better and louder but the food defend itself without it ;)

“what?..and india resturant that can't do spicy?”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

we searched for indian restaurant near our hotel, at first glance it appeared to be a high end place, right on a busy street, it must be good right? wrong. at first the service was great, but after we'd ordered they were more concerned with sport and news, even turning up the volume on the tv to an unbearable level while our 5 month was sleeping. we'd had for spicy curries all around, when the food came it was bland, we told the staff we didn't think the food spicy like we had asked, they looked baffled and then brought a bottle of some sauce that didn't do anything but water down the curry. I don't mind shellin' out the dough for good food, this wasn't good and the price was as if we ate at the four seasons. 60baht for a CAN of coke zero? the same can is only 16baht at 7-11.

I EXPECT AN INDIAN RESTURANT TO BE CAPABLE OF COOKING SPICY FOOD. maybe not on the first shot, but at least the second try.

“Massively overpriced for below average food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 May 2014 via mobile

Visited 9pm Friday night and the place was empty. They play loud Indian cricket on a huge screen which ruins the ambience of the restaurant. We ordered mixed starters which were adequate in terms of portion but the quality was poor - burnt when they arrived and we sent them back. The red wine we ordered was poor and not cooled from the humid Bangkok heat. The mains of lamb tikka massala and chicken vindaloo were also of very poor quality with little flavour and the naan bread was as thin as a potato crisp. The price of 3500 baht was ruinously expensive - avoid this place its a shocking example of Indian food at its worst.

“Average Indian Restaurant high priced menu”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 May 2014

Four of visited this Restaurant for Dinner, its very conveniently located on Silom Road and easy to find,

They show Indian Cricket matches live here,

Menu covers the entire range of Indian food,

Prices are on the higher side, the taste of most dishes is mediocre, and some dishes are good.

Serving portions are small.

The owner Sardarji couple are there usually at Dinner time, and are quite talkative.

The rates of Menu items are high even for take away,

The Vegetarian dishes are around 180~200 Baht and the Non-Veg dishes are 250 Baht upwards.

The Management should either increase the portion sizes or give some items such as water and papad / salad complimentary to offset the high prices.

Visit this place only if you wish to splurge or its late at night... otherwise quite avoidable...

“A big NO NO”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 April 2014

Ambience was good and spacious. it was limited only to this. The food was okay and heavily priced. one can ignore the price if the quanity offered is sufficient. for the prices they had, the quanity and quality of food was just so pathetic. it really left a bad impression on us and we made sure to never dine in here again. don't have much to stay.
