I would avoid this restaurant at all costs. The place was dirty service non existent and the food terrible. Cannot say anything good about this shop pretending to be a restaurant. Go elsewhere

(This was in the Bang Na central branch)
It was Xmas day and my family and I were looking for a nice place to eat,I know there was nowhere service turkey so I was already prepared to be eating Asian food as a sub'

We came across Zen,we checked out the menu,food looked nice and served by fav' Thai beer (Singha) I had just spent an hour pacing the mall with a one year old child and my wife,nothing sounded better than some nice food and a cold beer to wash it down with.

We entered and one of the staff just looked at us,then turned her back on us,then it seemed out of bordom turned back to us,she then pointed to a table,our waitress who at this point still had a face like a smacked ar**,she then placed a coupe of menu's on the table,the manner of the staff was much like the cast out of Shaun of the dead,they were moving but just dead inside,we decided on ordering 4 dishes and just sharing them between the 3 of us,we ordered the Singha and the kids drink and my wifes fruit juice,all no problem.

Our first dish was delivered to the table first,still no drinks,and then my wifes fruit juice and kiddy drink,the zombie then told my wife (who is Thai) we cannot serve Singha before 5pm so could you please tell your husband to choose another drink,(Now I am not a crazed booze hound who has to drink at every meal,but this was Xmas day and it was 4pm) I told my wife to inform the waitress that we wish to cancel our whole order as this was not told to us when we placed our order,they just stood there with smiles on their faces saying ''you cannot cancel,food ready'' I said to my wife I did not care,If it was England I would have done this without hesitation,but as I am sure I would end up in some type of prison(In Thailand) I was forced to re order and enjoy a Sprite for my Xmas lunch,(I ordered this three times as I was left waiting for upto ten minutes for it to arrive)the food arrived(one plate arrived twice and had to send it back) but at this point I had lost my interest in eating,I was angry,I took a few nibbles at the food and left most of it,my wife did the same,I asked for the Bill,I usually leave a tip at most restaurants but I made a point of collecting every coin off the plate,the waitress frowned,I said farang not pay tip until after 5pm !!!!

The atmosphere of the place was cold and very unwelcoming,my only regret was ever making the mistake of stepping through the front doors,the street food people have more manners and class.

Avoid Zen !

I went to Zen restaurant in Central World Shopping center to try their all you can eat buffet for THB 399... big mistake.
Supposedly hot food was cold, dry and tasteless. Sushi were not exceptional and fish didn't seem fresh.
Drinks were undrinkable (sugary)
You can give some food for the staff to barbecue for you, but it take them 15 minutes to bring it back.
I ended up my all you can eat experience at Zen after half an hour only and once back home made myself a sandwich.
There are way too many better options in Bangkok to waste your money in such low quality place.
