It is easy to get there by taxi or BTS Skytrain. Hotel offers huge rooms - I should write that they are apartments (70m^2) not rooms. Bathrooms are very clean, bright and spacious. You can take a shower or have bath (both - shower and bathtub in bathroom). Air conditioning is more that efficient. Great swimmingpool, especially during night. Drinks costs about 3€ and are 5/5. Gym is the best I've ever seen in hotel. If you are not sure if you should book it - do it.

The hotel is beautiful, the pool is amazing and you can get all kinds of food and drinks around the pool. Rooms are very nice with funky showers and a balcony. Its little bit expensive but worth it totally.

I stayed at Oaks Sathorn in Bangkok for 3 nights in the end of December 2013. The quality of the room and furnishings were impressive and the level of service is what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Staff are very friendly and their English is very good so there is no language barrier. They can also organise your taxi for the day and recommend places to go. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh linen and towels. Security building and very safe. Breakfast is a little expensive at 530THB per person per day but it is a nice buffet breakfast with a lot of variety.

Room Tip: I asked for a room high up with views but wasn't able to get one. I was on the 4th floor which d...

Excellent hotel to stay in! I've spent there almost a week in a good suite, everything is what you expect: really clean, friendly staff, stunning dinner on the roof top. I suggest you to book a dinner on the top of the hotel, there is a Sky bar and a Sky restaurant. Book a room over the tenth floor, so you can get a good view of Bangkok. If you get a taxi, remember to ask for Anantara Shatorn Hotel, is in the same building and the taxi drivers know it more than Oaks! Huge space in the room, nice the bouble door in the bathroom: the firts to go to the living room, the second to get directly into the bedroom. Book this hotel it's Worth what you pay!!!

Room Tip: Book a room over the tenth floor and go to the Sky restaurant to have a dinner, is on the top of the...

I spent five nights here, in a one bedroom apartment. It was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The staff at reception are very welcoming, personable and helpful. The gym is excellent, the food in the restaurants is great, the staff there are lovely. The bar staff are very professional and polite. It was my first stay at the residence and I really enjoyed it. I only stayed because my usual place was fully booked, so I needed to hunt around for somewhere to stay on the day I was flying into Bangkok. I was very pleasantly surprised and would definitely return. Many thanks to house keeping who always did a fantastic job and were very friendly too!!

Room Tip: You should try to get to the roof top bar before sunset, the view is awesome. There can be quit...

Ideal for our family of four as there was a lot of room. We were out from early morning to late night daily but is was nice to return to the apartment with its two bathrooms and the large living room.
The housekeepers did a good
job and the beds were made impeccably. There needs to be
more attention to upkeep and repair as the furniture is chipped and scratched on the edges, grout in the bathrooms is mouldy and
rain shower squirted water upwards into the light fitting in the
Ceiling.
The staff at reception were extremely helpful.
The location while not ideal as it is not in the tourist zone (Siam Square) was acceptable for. the BTS station was just a 15 minute walk away and there is a taxi rank on the Main Street just outside the hotel.
"Villa" is. supermarket a couple
of doors away which offers
local and imported produce.
For nearby dining options we tried "Gangnam Style" across the road for Korean and "Somboon" for local seafood. The Anantara also has some attractive dining Options.
The gym and pool are great.

Oaks sathorn is a nice place to stay. We love the pool with a great view. Staff was very polite. Room was very big with two balconies, kitchen and every thing you might need! Design was excellent. Its close to the skytrain so you can reach easily every part of the city. I only did not like the price of breakfast- too expensive!!
