My wife and I and a grandaughter spent a weekend at the Arcadia recently. We found the rooms very comfortable, the hotel staff helpful and a good selection of items at the buffett breakfast, although not always replenished as quickly as they should have been. We used the tuk tuk service frequently and never had to wait more than a few moments. The only criticism we had was with the "free half day" tours offered by the hotel in conjunction with a jewelery warehouse. We had signed up for the Temple tour but when the guide arrived , he explained that because of a disturbance near one of the temples, he would take us on the canal tour instead. We told him we had done a river cruise on a tourist boat the day before and wanted the palace tour instead. He promised that the river tour would be new and different. It was not. Tickets for the long tailed boat were more than twice the price of the day before and the guide explained very little of what we were seeing. Five others had reluctantly gone along with this tour as well and we were all very disappointed. An afternoon wasted - not good publicity for either the hotel or the warehouse.

Went here with my family, brother and sister. Hotel value is valuable and comes with lots of facility. Hotel were new, located in the middle of Bangkok.
1) Since this hotel is new, our taxi driver need to ask 2 people to find it and finally we followed the hotel tuk tuk.
2) They provide tuk tuk to the nearest BTS.
3) Breakfast was fair, do not compare food variety to Four Season or other 5 stars hotel but it was food, they have: salad, fresh fruits, toast, juices, dining space will be indoor and outdoor. Outdoor is near the swimming pool.
4) To return to the hotel you'll need to walk probably about 10 minutes and also to find food nearby the area will be challenging since the hotel is surrounded with skycrapers.
5) From Don Mueang airport it took us about 500 Baht including highway.

On your room you'll get: 3 seater sofa, umbrella, Samsung washing machine, iron, ironing board, safe deposit box, kitchen sink, dining table, 2 TV's and also refrigerator. Great right?

Cheers. . .

It's a very good place, with some minor hiccups.

The location was really good, walking distance to Central World, if you walk towards Nana, there's a good seadfood place and many eateries and roadside food and shops. It's pretty near the BTS, with free tuktuk shuttle service to it, if not, it's just a few mins walk.

We didn't have hot water on the first night, it was torturous bathing in the cold, but they got it fixed the next day. Called for extra pillows but the recep never got back to me and they don't have adaptors they can loan to you (tho the bedroom has built in adaptors, but not the living room). If you need anything from housekeeping, you'll have to wait till the next day because apparently, they're not on standby at night. When we first checked in, there were cup stains on the table. Aside from these, our stay was very much pleasant and the service staff were very nice and helpful. My girlfriend need to go out to the 7-11 to buy me medicine for my headache, the tuk tuk driver wasn't allowed to wait in case other residents needed a tuk tuk out, but he offered to come back in 10 mins, which he did.

The room had a washing machine cum dryer which was great for washing and drying clothes overnight, just buy your own washing detergent at the 7-11. The apartment also came with a stove and microwave oven.

Breakfast was so-so, nothing to rave about, neither was the pool. But the room was large and spacious, bathroom was good, bed was comfortable.

Don't pick the rooms on the second floor, it's on the same floor as the breakfast restaurant.

Room Tip: Choose a pool facing room, but not on the 2nd floor. There are no other good views there.

Stayed in 1 bedroom deluxe suite. The room was exactly as shown in the website. Exceptional value for the price paid - our suite had 2 LED TV, kitchenette, bath tub and a washer dryer. Hot water in shower however was a problem, it was either too hot or cold. Also the mattress was a bit too soft for our liking.
Pool is nice. Hotel also has a sauna facility. We couldn't take the half day city tour that is included, needs to be booked in advance.
The staff at reception is exceptional, professional yet polite and welcoming service.
Hotel is 10 mins walk to nearest BTS station, however the hotel provides pick up and drop by Tuk Tuk. We used the complimentary Tuk-Tuk service extensively, each time we got the Tuk Tuk within 5 mins. There are quite a few restaurants as well as a 7/11 next to BTS station.
Breakfast has limited variety for vegetarians. Hotel is near toll road and hence travelling to /from either airports at Bangkok by taxi is quite convenient - 30-40 mins travel time.

Would give it 5 stars for design and fittings of the hotel..it is very tastefully done in a Japanese inspired theme. But the location is pretty desolate...nothing in walking distance and getting a cab back is a real pain due to it being on a one way lane. The staff is very helpful and warm, barring the breakfast steward. Breakfast is the bare essentials found at a buffet and not even a cappuccino coffee is on offer...have seen much better in bkk. Housekeeping is a bit slack and need to be reminded everyday to replenish toiletries as well as the tea tray. The hot water issue is basically bad if you want to soak in the tub. And would definitely complain about the pillows which were hard.Overall you can find better.

Room Tip: Stayed in 604...I don't know about the others.
