Great visit

Review of Baan Chart

The location of this hotel is perfect. Great cosy rooms with a nice bathroom. The staff at the front of house was lovely the only downside is the noise. Sometimes a band playing till 4am could be heard but it wasn't a deal breaker. Would stay again.

We were here back in 2014 but our stay was really nice. Rooms were clean and staff were super friendly. This was our first hotel (out of the 7 hotels) so first impressions of Thailand were superb! Also they kept our luggage at their hotel after we checked out for FREE!

We would book again when we return to Thailand as the location was fantastic.

My experience in this hotel was very good. The receptionists were very helpful and kind. A very good thing about this hotel is its closeness to one of the most amazing streets in Old Bangkok: Koh San Road where you can have meals, drinks, try scorpions, spiders and other animals you are probably not used to eat and also do some shopping - there are good prices there.
Having a swimming pool in the hotel is awesome because Bangkok is so hot that sometimes the best thing to do after a day of walking is jump into the water.
The room was amazingly cleaned and it was cozy and has air conditioner which is very good and useful when outside are 40°C.
At night you can have a drink at the bar while you listen to someone singing - very well I can say. Also about the “downstairs” place, you have Starbucks and Burger King (open 24 hours a day).
The breakfast is very good and there are a amazing range of food for you to chose, but the only waiter that speaks English is a bit rude. This was the only “bad” aspects about this hotel for me.

When I was there to have a Burger king I was stopped at the moment I about to went to the toilet. The staff who stopped me said nothing then point me to the yellow sign said" 20 baht for toilet use" with disrespectfully smile. He did this to me only while others others Caucasian didn't. when I asked why I was the only one that was stopped he just silence and ignore me. I understand that the toilet is for guest and customer of Burger king and Starbucks but why not explain to me politely or stop everybody.

We loved this hotel so much. The room we requested and stayed was Indichina Heritage. I could not have any complain about this room because the decoration and style were all perfect to us. Fell cozy and special inside the room.
However, you should be noted that it is a bit noisy here because there may be some singing or outdoor activities in the courtyard of the hotel. If you cannot stand noise at night, it might be a big problem coz you can hear everything even you close the door.
The staff in this hotel was nice as well but they should gave us more introduction about their offer. When we checked in, they just proceeded to collect our information, arrange room and give us the key without any helpful information about their hotel. However, it seems to be a common problem with serving style in Thailand that we met in other hotels as well.
By the way, it is still a great choice for us and should be recommended.
