The hostel is in a side street close to Silom road, a very busy street in Bangkok. There's a 7/11 shop opposite the hostel too. Bad smells and sometimes even rats welcome you on the roads on the way to the hostel. The hostel is aesthetically speaking very nice. Once we were lodged in a double bedroom on the first floor and some other time we were lodged on the fourth floor making it very difficult for us to lift our luggages four floors. There is no lift. The room is nice with a/c. The bathroom can be a little bit bigger. If you ask for towels, they will tell you that you should come back again for them at around 8pm because at that time only they will be ready.

I stayed here for my last few days in Bangkok and absolutely loved it!! The location is great for getting around Bangkok itself, being close to a BTS skytrain station, giving quick access to places such as MBK, Siam and even a direct link to BKK airport. It is also only a short walk from the river so hopping on a river taxi to go see the grand palace is easy. the surrounding area itself is ok, with some shops, a few restaurants and the trusty 7-11, but it is definately a place to stay if you want to be out and about. The hostel staff are really friendly and the rooms and shower areas are all clean.Something that alot of hostels dont have that this one does is a kitchen area where they have access to tea, coffee, biscuits, noodles and a fridge etc which i felt was a massive plus! Unfortunately being low season when i stayed there weren't too many people around so not particularly social but im sure this would be different at other times!!

In a very hectic city this was a great place to stay, off of main roads but out the way enough to be quiet. I stayed in a private room on my own with air con, your own bathroom and shower everything was a very good size. Communal area downstairs was very easy to meet people and relax and play cards. The staff when we were there were very friendly and helpful, getting me a photocopy of my passport, giving us somewhere to put our back packs after check out so we could travel around Bangkok. Good WiFi on lower floors, I stayed on the top floor.

Room Tip: The room I stayed in on the top floor, was next to one facing outside. Was a bit enclosed with no wi...

I enjoyed this hostel, my girlfriend and I stayed in a private room up on the top floor. WiFi was good on the lower floors and reception. The hostel had a very friendly feel to it and the staff were very helpful. The design around the hostel was cool, with the theme being maps of the world. Writing this from an island with limited electricity and no air con... the air con was a god send in this hostel!! Perfect to escape the hustle and bustle of Bangkok!

Room Tip: Having only stayed in the private room, I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

I spent 1 night here in budget private room and had a pros-cons experience.

Pros : speed free wi-fi, friendly staff named Alex (or sounds like that), lovely neighborhood, toilets and shower room in every floor is adequate, washing machine and dry machine that you can use for a fee, and most of em...i like its decoration with the world map and flag.

Cons : it's not that close to BTS Station (I use Surasak BTS Stasion because it's closer than Chong Nonsi). The lady in front office (the skinny one who has bob haircut) didn't give a very warm welcome. I don't know her name (and not interesting to ask). She was like "i am to cool to serve this man" and always gave me a weird stare.

Good location close to Surasak BTS station from where you can grab a motorcycle taxi to the hostel for 20 baht. Some have said it's hard to find, I had no problems with that.

I stayed only one night. The lady behind the desk on the arrival day was super nice and helpful. Hostel is clean modern with WiFi to which, for some reason, I couldn't connect. I had a private room which had nice industrial look but didn't have any windows.

There's a kitchen in the back for low budget travelers and a rooftop terrace which is now closed during night due to complaints caused by noisy travelers.
