I never thought I will see such cool and calm temple just between Bankok's happening Malls and busy streets! You can see detailed description about Lord Buddhas life in detail here.

Lovely temple to visit when in Bangkok. Take a few moment to sit in the corner and meditate. Feels very calm compared to the chaotic atmosphere outside.

Right in the middle of bustling downtown Bangkok next to the Central World and Siam Paragon. It is a temple with a long history with beautiful architecture. At the back, there is a large mediation hall that you can go and pray or meditate at no cost but donations are greatly appreciated. It is a great place for blessing and spiritual.

I came with a friend...a local... to pray and meditate.
Fortunately, there were few tourists or no tourists when we visited. I really cannot recall seeing anyone who looked to be a tourist. Perhaps she knew when to visit? Be quiet and respectful of the locals... take time to see some of the drawings found on the walls... they tell a beautiful story. Appropriate dress suggested. This is what I consider a hidden gem.
given the reason of my visit... perhaps I should not write the review... perhaps I do so to remind myself and other visitors that we are guests...
