Definitely one of a kind crab egg omelette I’ve ever tasted. We went late at night and got the last seats. Waited for an hour for the food to be served, because apparently there’s only one chef cooking, none other than the Jay Fai herself. She’s really dedicated to her cooking and I think it’s a well deserved michelin star award for her.
Definitely worth visiting when u’re in Thailand.

Reserved online way advance but was confirmed only by 8.30pm. Arrived earlier and waited for an hour before finally seated. Took another 45mins for the foods to be served. Overall only the crabmeat omelette was nice and the rest just norm Thai’s foods standard. It was really hot and humid inside the restaurant. Will be great if it is air-condition.

Don’t let the negative review sway you there are just some things you need to know before hand.
1. Expect to wait (a long time) unless you make a reservation. You probably need to get there 30-60min before hand if you want to eat with in a couple hours. I got there 30min after opening and it took 6hours to get a table. (Which was what I was expecting.)
(1a. There is a bar next door so grab a beer or get one at the waiting tables outside.)
2. Making reservations outside of Thailand can be difficult.
3. Jay Fai is a master of her craft and doesn’t want to changes things. She enjoys cooking every meal for each patron and won’t let anyone else do this to keep the quality amazing. So, you will wait further once you get your table.
4. If you are not present when your number is called they will skip you.
5. The food is worth a Michelin Star and is the best “street food” I ate in Thailand and thats saying something.

As for the food; it was amazing. We went with the traditional three dishes: crab omelet, drunken noodles, and yellow carb curry. I thought the drunken noodles were the best but that dish does lend itself well to the “Mozart of the Wok.” If you are a foodie and understand how things function its a memorable evening in Bangkok!

Having waited 5 1/2 hours.... and all I’ve heard about this place.... total disappointment. Service is dismal. Food was average? Not what you’d think you’d get at a Michelin Star place let alone after you waited almost 6 hours! I’ve had far better food at a fraction of the cost off the street.

Don’t waste your time or money.

this place is overrated, overpriced, over ridiculous. waited for almost 7 hours (im a walk in) and the food was just mediocre. can get better tasting food at other local street shops at fractions of thr price.

cooking is inefficient (only 1 chef/cook herself), waited for 1 hour for the food to come, unorganized system for serving customers, no limitation on how many customers to take in (you just take in as much customers as possible and make them wait for hoursssss, dont overpromise them if you cant take them in).

conclusion-utter rubbish!!!

also, michelin should not be the right body to taste and rate street food. is nonsensical and misleading. all michelin rated restaurants across south east asia and east asia is rubbish.
