“Not a very friendly hotel”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2013

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. The room was ok with weird design, a big pillar blocked the cabinet and the entrance of the toilet was high and the shower place was so small. It's a busy street outside the hotel with lots of cars, taxis & tuk-tuk. A lot of hawkers by the roadside that make the road become smaller, need to beware of car all the times.

The breakfast not so good, can see a layer of oil at the bottom of every plate of the food. The food finished and took quite long time for them to served new one.

The sound-proof were bad, you can heard the sound of opening & closing door, the conversation, people pulling luggage, people walking with slippers or high-heel. The air-con was cold enough even we turned it to 26'C. It freeze during midnight and the ice dropped on the floor and wake us up in terrific as we do not know what happened in the 1st place. The staff should have tell the room guests that the room door will alarmed if the door did not closed tightly. Some guests do not aware of that and the alarm just rang and rang till they finished breakfast from the restaurant, so annoying.

I asked the ladyboy to help for booking a taxi to the airport for the next day and she/he told us, 600baht, I asked again 600baht to go to airport? Then she/he said you can just called a taxi downstairs with a sour face. The next day when we asked her to arrange the taxi again, she asked us to go down and called it ourselves...what kind of service?

We will never stay in this hotel again. Even though the other staffs are quite good, but one unhelpful and unfriendly staff is enough.

Did some research before booking this hotel, thought i could try it out with my friends as this is a new hotel and it is quite near pratunam. Previously i stayed at budacco for 4-5 times.

Surprisingly, 93 hotel is a quite new hotel. Taxis would not know this hotel thus i'll advise that you need to print out hotel map and location from the hotel website and do some research first. It's quite near to budacco hotel, probably like 2 mins walk. (or you can tell the taxi drivers that it is near baiyoke sky hotel as most of them will know that hotel instead.)

We checked in at around 8 plus, took a cab from airport. Check-in procedures were quick, but we were told to pay a deposit of 600 baht instead of usual 500 baht. (it will be given back during ur check-out).

We booked two rooms, they were big and clean, and our request of placing both rooms side by side were satisfied. :)
Just that there were two little flies in one of the room(which we have no idea why).
And there's hairdryer in the wardrobe(yay!)

Breakfast was decent, don't expect a big spread for this kind of affordable price. A little suggestion can be that there can be additional fruits instead of just papaya and a little more options for the cereal section instead of just cornflakes. :)
Wi-fi in the room is a bit slow, relied on the 3G card i bought instead.
Air-conditioner in the room is working well, temperature is adjustable.

There's escalator going up to the hotel, however you need to climb down the stairs. (A bit troublesome for the old folks) But i believe that the lift in hotel can be used to get down to the basement which will lead to the streets outside.

Requested to check out a bit later like 2pm, and they really did allowed. Left our luggages at the counter while we went out for last min shopping and quick bites. Asked Mon(hotel staff) to help us to call a taxi(by meter) at 5pm to the airport and he really did. He transported our luggages down to the streets by himself and sent us off. Awesome service provided by this boutique hotel. :)

I'll never hesitate to book this hotel again.

Pricing is affordable, comes with free breakfast, big rooms, clean and spacious, convenient locations to shopping areas eg pratunam market, platinum shopping mall, pantip plaza and massage shops eg. opp the hotel, (p.s. i went to the one beside budacco). What else can you expect? :)

Travelled from 29 June - 3 July 2013.

I'll be back soon! :)

Room Tip: Superior rooms are good just for two people! :)

From the looks of it, I presume it should be a new hotel. Everything is still well furnished. There wasn't any room for early check in upon our arrival. But the staffs were kind enough to allow us to leave our luggage at Concierge the room is ready. They also provided us with what looks like a self-drawn map to the nearest shopping attractions from the Hotel! Staffs also converse well in English. Very helpful indeed!

The hotel is located in the heart of Pratunam streets which is all the more convenient for shopping. Halal eateries are easy to find. We became frequent diners of Maedah Restaurant which serves really tasty food. 2mins walking distance across the Hotel.

Hotel stay was pleasant. Room is clean. We had great wifi connection in the room as well and all the necessities provided for. Only 1 tiny problem. We received a call in the middle of the night from a lady, which i think, could be 'Service' call. If you know what i mean. ;P

3 of us (including 1 senior) stayed 3 nights in this hotel which was located in Pratunam area. Previously stayed at citin pratunam & decided to try this hotel after reading the previews. It was my first stay at this hotel and had good impression. The hotel is clean, moden, the room is spacious (we had 2 single bed + 1 extra bed) as compared to citin pratunam which is much older. Initially there was a smell when we first checked-in, but was okay after a while. The water heater and air-con was working well.
But kind of funny that you have to walk up a curb to enter the bathroom, as the bathroom was one level up from bedroom flooring. But still it's okay. They do not supply bedroom slippers, though they do have toiletries, boiling kettle & free mineral water everyday. The hangers are limited, only 4 in the wardrobe for 3 of us!

Ony setback was the wi-fi don't work very well, get disconnected at times. Also, each time other rooms at the same floor open /close their doors, we could hear the door banging which was kind of irritating. The doors could have been more sound-proof.

The breakfast was okay for the price we paid, ideally if they could have seasonal fruits /yoghurt would be perfect. Staff are helpful and always greet us when we came back.
The water heater was okay.
Overall, I am pleased with this hotel (will come back again my next trip), have enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to my friends..

The taxis in Bangkok do not even know the place. Its a really long walk in from platinum no doubt it takes 10 minutes. The so called breakfast that they claimed to provide is hopeless. Let's not talk about the quality of food, but at least the must be a quantity. There is always no food on the buffet. Everyone has to wait so long for food to be served. Breakfast is claimed to be until 10am, meaning anytime before 10am, food has to be present, but it's not.

Next is the services, their Wi-Fi is the worse provided, it's slow and the password given to you expires every 3 days. I rather use the 3G that I have bought from the airport.
