Stayed for 5 nights at the end of November. Was originally supposed to be 4 nights, but I liked it so much I booked an extra night!

THE GOOD:

- Excellent rate, in great location (Silom)
- Modern hotel with free wifi throughout
- Lovely reception/communal area with free use of Mac computer, printing is 10 BAHT (£0.20p) per page
- Brilliant staff, who were so helpful during my stay. They can also book organised tours for you
- Modern rooms with English television channels, safe deposit box and toiletries provided, no hairdryer though
- ATM, currency exchange, 7-Eleven and Tops supermarket literally next door (to the right). Another 7-Eleven to the left.
- Starbucks across the road, which is great to grab breakfast as there is no restaurant or bar within hotel

NOT SO GOOD:

- Hotel located down an alleyway & is difficult for taxis to find (just tell them Silom 28 rather than give the hotel name)
- 15 min brisk walk to Patpong and night market
- Nearest BTS station, Surasak, is a 10 min walk, BUT first you must survive crossing 6 lanes of crazy Bangkok traffic and then walking down a side street. Not so bad in the day, but a bit scary walking solo at night.
- No tea/coffee making facilities in room, but free tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided in the reception area. Also a Starbucks across the street.
- Furniture in room looking a teeny bit worn and not much of a view, but what do you expect for £25GBP per night?

Nice hotel. Good rooms at great price. It's near expensive shops if that's what you are in to ad everything is either short train or taxi ride away.
We had a pleasant stay here for one night. Reception was very helpful. No food on site but then there are plenty of options close by.

Modern hotel. Bit like a travel lodge. Good location. Good front desk and door staff. No restaurant, bar or other services but all is in easy reach in Silom. A great value place to stay. Left my phone charger in the room and when I returned two weeks late they had it stored safely.

The hotel is just off Silom Road, on Soi 28 (a soi is a side street). When taking a taxi ask for "Silom Soi 28" and it's at the end of the soi on the right.

My husband and I (late 20s) stayed at iCheckinn Silom for 4 nights. This is a nice small hotel with rather nice. But the highlight of this place are the kind and dedicated staff. We had a couple of problems with our tailor and Nin did everything she possibly could to help us out. So here's a big thank you to Nin for her dedication and kindness :)
The hotel is located in Silom area. We did not want to stay in an area where all tourist stay. We wanted to be somewhere close to the real dad to day Bangkok life and Silom have us exactly that. The hotel is located within a 10-15 minutes walk to the "Oriental" taxi boat station and a BTS (sky train) station and trust me these are two things you want to be close to in Bangkok no matter where you choose to stay. We would walk every morning to taxi boat station and get on the boat with the orange flag for 15 BHT (!!!! I.e. Extremely cheap!!!). There are many different kinds of boat coming and going. The one of interest is the one with the orange flag, which in my opinion is an awesome experience all by itself :)
The only one thing about the hotel is that there is no phone in the room. Obviously, many other options available, so no big deal...
Overall, we had a very good experience in iCheckin Silom and would certainly recommend it.

We staying at iCheck Inn early November and it was a perfect first stop on our South East Asia tour. Silom is a nice area with easy access to the Skytrain, taxi's and boats.

The iCheck inn staff were very helpful and friendly. We felt very comfortable during our stay with a big air conditioned room, flatscreen tv and clean shower. There is a 7/11 just a few doors to the right on the main road so visit that and save yourself a few thousand baht by not raiding the minibar in the room.
