“Wonderful place and service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2014

Pui and the staff there are amazing. The place is very clean and the customer service is great. They were able to answer every single question I had and even offer advice on where to go. They remembered what I was up to and recommended things during my stay. It's probably one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed in. I was in the ladies' dorm, which is quiet but located a little far from the bathroom. The little curtains, lights and plug-in next to the bed were very convenient. Everything seems brand new. The beds, blankets and pillows are super comfy and nice. I didn't know there was a free breakfast until 11:00 am which was a nice surprise. The lockers located right next to the beds are really convenient. It's a little confusing right out of the subway, you have to walk down a ways on a huge street right out the exit down to a small side street and walk abit after that. The directions on their website were perfect though. The hostel is near a Super Valu which was good and far from the super touristy, busy areas which is nice. I really highly recommend this place! My only complaint is that it didn't seem like the bathroom was cleaned every day, but it wasn't really dirty. It's convenient if you want to spend a day at Chatuchak Market, which is on the same subway line and under 30 bht away.

Room Tip: The ladies' dorm is great if you want to sleep and more respectful roommates.

If you look for a clean and quite place to stay, choose Siamaze. The dorms are very tidy and comfortable, with nice beds and lockers with electricity inside (bring your own padlock). The shared bathroom is spacious and always kept clean. Breakfast is basic, but ok: toast with marmalade and banana's. The shared area is nicely decorated and comfy. Only disadvantage of this hostel is the nearby canal, which smells like an open sewage (which it actually is...) and which is especially noticable on the ground floor. But you may get used to it. I did, anyway. With the nearby metroline (take exit 4) it is about 15 mins to the main train station. Be aware that the traffic in the centre part of town is terrible: from the main train station any touristic location in the centre may take at least 30 mins. But that is Bangkok...every day in the city I have been wondering why the metroline doens't continue to the Grand Palace.

Other than the usual rave about the cleanliness and friendly staff, I would go further to compliment the designer/architect of the place (as a designer myself). Its a lot more spacious than any other hostel I've been, and much though has been put into the whole place. Open air area for lounging and rooms with balconies, this is almost like a hotel.

Was in the 4 bed mixed dorm and everyone has a spacious area for themselves with curtains for privacy, as well as electrical sockets in the lockers to charge your stuff with a peace of mind.

Location is easy to find from the nearby Suthisan station, a 15mins walk with some street food in between. The nearby Huai Kwang night market is not to be missed! Really authentic night market with mostly locals.

All in all a really new, clean hostel with modern facilities and amazing staff. Would definitely return again!

Siamaze hostel is the best place to stay in Bangkok. It is very clean and organised with a delicious breakfast. In Siamaze hostel there is an comfortable common area available for all customers. The bathroom are so beautiful. They are big, clean, and they were made to celebrities. Good point. Also, all staff are so friendly and very nice. ;) I advice you to know Siamaze Hostel and I am sure you will love it. It was really my second house. I want to come back. :D

We loved our stay here. The staff were very helpful, printing off maps, getting taxis for us, providing recommendations, etc. The rooms are lovely, as well as the TV room and the showers. It was also nice to be able to do our laundry.

The hostel looks better than advertised with modern facilities and genuine attention to detail. Padlocks for the locker and towels aren't provided. The towels are, however, available for rent. The breakfast spread is decent: bread, tuna, jam, bananas, muffins. Not exactly mind blowing but not bad either. The 4 bed room which I stayed was spacious enough though lighting is minimal in rooms and the reading lights in each bed didn't really illuminate well enough for reading. Also, the bed was rickety so if you're a light sleeper, consider sleeping at the bottom bunk. Toilets are clean but can get dirty once guests bring their shoes and sandals into the toilets.

On the down side, the hostel is situated next to a monsoon drain and it can smell really funky in the morning. They've planted a giant hedge to block out most of the smell and the view... which is nice. It's also quite a walk from the hostel to the nearest train station. It doesn't help that its also located away from all the major attractions and you will need to do a bit transiting to reach many areas.

Come here if you want a quiet, modern hostel and you don't mind the commute.
