“GOOD FOR SHOPPING & EATING BUT NOT LUXURY SERVICE”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

We stayed at The Berkeley hotel (north tower) for 3 night at a family room. Big & spacious room, strong wifi, hotel lobby connected to Palladium shopping centre. night market just below the hotel,Although is is 5 star hotel, but don't get expectation too high, especially the service from housekeeping, not clean, coffee , tea, sugar not refill everyday, we need to call and wait for almost 45 min. Flooding with water in bathroom after showering.
limited TV channel.

Room Tip: don't get your expectation too high!!

First of all we would like to thank the receptionist, khun Wipaporn S. For upgrading our room from premier king room to the corner premier king room. The first room we got is quite small as we have the 8 month old baby and we have a lot of stuff with 3 big luggages plus there is the baby cot in the room and some part of a wood stripe peeling off of furniture which could hurt our baby from crawling and walking along furniture.

When I called the receptionist about the first room we got. They sent the housekeeping up to check the room if they could do something. After the housekeeping came up, she couldn't do anything. Of course she can't fix the furniture! She is a housekeeping! She said she will talk to the receptionist and contact me back. I had been waiting for an hour but still hadn't heard anything from them so I called the receptionist back and asked about it. But seems like they haven't get any informed about my case. Then I got to talk to another lady Which is Khun Wipaporn S. She informed that there are only the room with double bed left. All the room were fully booked. I tried to ask her to do something as the 5 stars hotel should do better than this. She said we have to wait for the late check out room at 6pm. After 6pm Khun Wipaporn show us the room but the furniture is the same like the first room. My husband got upset. He expected a lot from this hotel as it's 5 stars and brand new hotel.

Khun Wipaporn won't let us down. She tried to find out for us and called down to check all the available room and try to figure it out for us to get the better room. We really appreciate it and so happy with our room. The room is big and clean. We got the corner room at 34th floor (moved from 25th floor) with a beautiful skyscraper! The housekeeping in our floor is really friendly. She clean and make up our room quick and perfect.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the north tower biulding on 27th - 31st July. We are really happy to stay in this luxury hotel. We got really good service for all the staff. We feel really welcome as all the staffs always greet us. The waitress at the breakfast offered us the quited sofa area as we have the baby. They also come around and greet us, playing with our baby sometimes too.

There are several types of food for breakfast :- Thai, Chinese and western food. They are all taste dioecious! Hotel is located in the centre. you can walk to the big mall like Central world, Siam paragon, pantip, or platinum mall.

We highly recommend this hotel and we definitely come back here next time!

Room Tip: Ask for the corner room and the high floor.

Definitely not 5 star standard.
Big room but no wifi connected in the room. Only connected at lower floor as 11,10,G. We have the hotel massage service, it's not really good, price about 900baht for 90min. Not recommended.

Just the check-in. I got greeted by a nice FO staff nicknamed "Smile" and this is what he does all along. He laughed, and made me feel comfortable the minute I came through the door.
The rooms are spacious and modern with a great bathtub and separate shower. Everything is clean and tidy. The only thing missing is a comfortable chair to sit and relax or watch TV. The ones provided are basic and not meant to be for long periods of sitting. Breakfast is great, albeit very busy the staff is very attentive and friendly. Lots of Headwaiters make sure no one will be forgotten. Buffet is serving everything you need for every taste. Vegetarian, western, Asian, Indian.........a little bit more fruit choices would be nice though. It is a great stay so far, one more night to go and I am sure I won't be disappointed. A wonderful experience in Pratunam, Bangkok.

This plush and fancy hotel is located conveniently around the main shopping vicinities in Pratunam area. It's grandly designed hotel interior is well equipped with new technology facilities, and needless to say that the rooms are both trendy and sophisticated. Service is efficient, although, some staff needs more practice on the english language. Breakfast serves
fairly abundant selections of buffet.

The luxury room in the main tower proved a comfortable base for an extended stay whilst I recovered from an injury. The room was comfortable with the a/c issues resolved to provide steady cool air. The room was kept clean & tidy. The only downsides were the feeble fridge (nicknamed the 'microwave' by my Thai partner') as it wouldn't keep anything cool (there's nothing like a tepid beer to refresh is there?) & frequently feeble wifi. Breakfast was fine but I was advised on occasions to arrive early (<8am) as the hotel was full to capacity with Chinese tour guests & that breakfast might become a bit of a noisy scrum. True. Will stay again however.

Room Tip: Luxury main tower rooms should be fine however I'm pretty convinced by now that the fridges in m...
