My wife and I took a suite. It felt so much like home. Was awed at the scenery from our room. When we looked out, we could see the hustling and bustling of Bangkok. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had a couple of card issue, being locked out of our rooms at times, the staff resolved the issue immediately. The butler was very kind and generous with his where-to-go trips while in our holiday. To summarize, a well worth it trip. Will not hesitate to come back again.

Room Tip: Request fora high floored room if possible.

What a location it was. Just take left and you reach The Platinum, Take left and right, you reach Siam Paragon and near by Central. Cross the road and you reach Indira and MBK. IS there any place else for shopping in Bangkok.. Everything is here. Right next to Baioke Sky. Our room was at 20th Floor, with seperate Living Room and Bed Rooms. Clean and cosy it was.
We were here for our New Year celebrations at the Central World, and we enjoyed thoroughly. The celebration was just 2 minutes from our hotel.

All i can complain of is the Breakfast. 2/10. :( Being a vegeterian is difficult at this property.

I can share an incident where our Room AC had water leakage, and on complaining about the same to the reception, it was immediately taken care of..

So basically, for Shopping and location this Property gets 10 on 10, for Comfort it gets 8/10. for Food 6/10 Cost Factor - 7/10

Room Tip: Tip: 1. Higher the rooms, better the view 2. Book free brakfast at the time of booking 3. Go walk...

Very convenient location. Situated just beside Platinium Mall where shopping is heaven there. But what i want to rant about is the room. My room is at Level 17. Rooms are big which consist of Living room and a Bed room. But 2 lights were fused. One is the spot light in the living room and the other is the dressing table light. (repaired at night after we inform them). Even though lights are fixed, the wardrobe was dark. Literally cannot really see much. I have to shift my luggage out to search for things and to pack. The only dim light there was from the wardrobe which need to be left open. (after leaving it open, you cant walk in) . For the living room, i believe its been ages since someone open the compartments. When i open it, it was totally dusty and mouldy with some dead insects inside. For the Bathroom, it is the best. Brightly litted and spacious.

I rated 3 star is mainly because of the location. if not for the location, it will be poor or terrible.

Location: Strategically located beside Platinum Mall
Hotel Amenities: Good
Services: Excellent attitude and service from staff (Room Service, Reception, Bell Boys)
Overall: very good

Side Note: A visit to the in house massage palour did not end pleasantly. The massage ladies asked for tips after the session and upon receiving, did not even say thank you. They mentioned some remarks in Thai to each other and it wasn't very positive.

Location is quite convenient as you can reach Siam square in 10/15 min, as well as the airport link and benefit from many cheap shopping options.
Hotel needs some refreshing, the rooms are getting old (our room was weirdly and strongly smelly when we got in).
I had a bad experience with the business center which consists in two antique slow computers and a non working printer (not 4* standard). When I asked the reception to help for the printer they told me to go to an Internet café nearby (customer service zero).
Overall staff does nothing particular to make you feel welcome.
Breakfast buffet is good and varied.

Family Stay
Positives: great location, room service ok but food always cold on arrival, big tvs, staff very friendly and service is great. Porters were fantastic and friendly.

Negatives: rooms old and musty, loud even from high floor, breakfast avg , hot water on /off with no pressure, old electrical outlets can't charge equipment, furniture dated and dusty, air con filters need cleaning badly. Lobby is confusing amongst lots of shops needs renovation and would be 4-5star.

Overview: Worst hotel I have stayed at in Bangkok, rooms old and from the moment I arrived in my room my sinus kicked in and my whole family was constantly sneezing, coughing and had runny nose which led to flu, Asked for new section as travelling with an infant but was put in old section. Only plus is the location is fantastic next to shopping heaven with several malls to choose from. The only saving grace were the staff who were very friendly and provided excellent service right throughout hotel. Cannot recommend although I peaked at the new section and is 10 times better so hopefully they renovate the entire hotel and I might try it out again.

Room Tip: Insist on a new room
