“Pleasant Park in Downtown Bangkok”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 October 2013

Pleasant, shady small park right by Skytrain station Phrom Phong (Emporium Mall) It has a collection of sculptures, which blend well with the tropical plants and trees, plus a small lake.
Open in the evening too and illuminated.
At Loi Krathong, November 17th this year, many Thais visit this park to float their beautiful krathongs ( floating candle boats ) Around 6 pm is a good time to experience this special Thai festival.

“Great Park...Learn Some Japanese!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 September 2013

Great park...place to run in about 10 laps per mile, a cute lake and a few playgrounds for the kids. I recommend that you come early in the morning if you want your kids to play in the playground. Also, go to the eastern most playground next to Emporium...the mega mall provides nice shade in the morning before the sun reaches it's highest point.

Also, I've been to this park about 10 times...most of the parents and kids there speak Korean, English or Japanese. Would be good to learn a few words in the other languages to have your children introduce themselves to the Japanese and Korean kids.

Of course, we all should speak Thai too!

“Perfect setting for a Saturday afternoon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2013

This is one of popular parks in Bangkok, which is very well maintained and has quite a lot of people around all the time. The location is good, since its in between the city, and has a lovely water formation in the centre. I have enjoyed many afternoons, basking in the noon sun, yet not discomforted rather, making it a very pleasant experience.

Would recommend, the tourists to spend a while there, and get connected with nature in between the urban chaos ...

“Looks nice”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2013

This park looks nice, especially from our hotel room, but it is a little small and lacked much of interest. There was some Music show with live music on stage but it was not very good nor well attended.
