Absolutely gorgeous, peaceful park in the heart of hectic Bangkok.

Lots of lush greenery and flowers, a large pond and bridges. It's a great place to people watch and take photos.

I happened to be there on a day when Thai marine corps marching band were practising. It then started raining buckets, but everyone stayed to watch the performance - its was very impressive.

Closest station to the main entrance is Silom BTS.

There's no fee at all when you enter this park. You can find family, people jogging inside of the park there will also be pedalo for hire here. Personally I think this is a nice park to jog.

Surrounding the park during night time they will change into hawker center in front of the park gate. You can sit here and just watch the duck swimming here and there. Park can be reach using BTS and they also provide parking lot here

Cheers. . .

Great to walk around for an hour or so. Loved watching the dogs and water monitors wandering about. Few interesting bits to stop and chill for. Worth a visit.

Really nice park too walk around....approx 2.8 km long, really green, and heaps to see. Would be nice to bike ride around, heaps of people using the park, right in the of middle of Bangkok. Really pretty...Bangkok's version of new yorks Central Park. Highly recommend.

I spent there some 4hours, in a day of transit in Bangkok.
It's calm and fresher than the city, you can walk, ride bicycle and seat on the grass, under the trees to read.
But I read in some guidebook that "it was like going outside Bangkok"...Not really! Don't expect more than a big city-park!
