This park reminded me of Central Park in New York, even though it's a bit too hot to work around even for a little while. But it is beautiful park for the city.

Be aware that this normally tranquil park is currently HQ to the democracy protest movement. Still worth a look at the park and the nearby market selling goods to support the cause. As a tourist we still felt very safe when walking around it!

Unfortunately every bit of green space has a tent pitched on it! OK if you want to see the makeshift protesters camp but don't bother if you fancied a picnic or feed the fish. No sign of the monitor lizards - they must have moved out! Having said that everyone was friendly and it did have a bit of a festival vibe.

I loved this park. Then the protesters took it over. It is now a giant camp site/trash dump. I miss my wonderful, quiet, serene little escape from Bangkok.

This is an excellent place to take in the local botanic beauty and get in some good exercise away from the hustle and bustle of the city
