This place is awesome.. Though small in size it makes up with enthusiastic staff.. The cobras made my day and the show in the afternoon was spectacular.. Cheap @200 baht per person and got to hold a Burmese Python at the end of it.. Priceless

The benefits are many - the Snake Farms need your patronage always as its not just about snakes... We have mosquito born diseases as well and this quaint institution needs more visitors!

Can I say... a BIG snake - even one that smiles quietly wrapped around your neck is a great experience.

A visit a year or so back they tested me for dengue fever - I travel through infested regions... I found their work gratifying.

Snakes are frightening to many... my daughter hated them but during their snake demonstration she furtively came down and overcame here fears. We ended up with the family group hug with "extra" snake...

If you look ethnically different from local Thai people you will pay five times local rate.

Thai Looking people pay THB40 (adult) and THB10 (child)
Non-Thai Looking people pay THB200 (adult) and THB50 (child)

The facility was initiated and supported by European people and in appreciation Thailand now expects Non -Thai Looking people to pay a 'special' price.

only 200 Baht! this is run by the Red Cross staff - its easy to get to from central city area. There is a show daily which covers a wide range of real snakes handled by snake professionals - cobras, python, Thailand snakes etc etc.

after show is finished you may choose to have a photo with a python around your neck! amazing experience!

money goes to a good cause!

I had no idea what a great experience this would be. It was tremendous. We arrived in between the extraction of the venom (11 a.m.) and the snake handling show (2:30 p.m.) and almost didn't go in. I'm so glad we did. First, we ate at the covered area next to the snake farm, where delicious food was sold at low prices. Then we went on in. We walked around the outdoor snake area, which was great, filled with snakes of all shapes and sizes. Then we went to the indoor area, where we watched films, learned what to do when snakes bite, and about how snakes live. Then we saw the snake handling show. Real snakes. Real angry. Right in front of us. We watched as one handler was bitten, fortunately by a non-poisonous snake. We also got to meet and hold a giant Burmese python. It was incredible. Do it.
