“Peace and Quiet”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

I visited this Temple on the same day as I visited the temple of the Golden Buddha, and I liked this one a lot more due to it's peaceful feeling.
The stairs are quite easy to climb but obviously deter a lot of tourists as there was hardly anyone else there.
Both up and down you pass bells to ring as well as fun little features like waterfalls built into the side of the hill/mountain and there was a lovely breeze and a great view from the top.
There is an entry fee, but I think it was about 20baht. Remember to take a water bottle and stop for an ice-cream at the little shop down the bottom. There are toilets at a little cafe just as you start the walk up the stairs.

“Looks like mixed religion”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

Need to walk distances on foot and climb stairs. Many beautiful flowers and lotus flowers are bloomed around the path. Top of the hill, big windows of temple are opened, seats are set under windows. Wind blows and sweat cools down.
Brightly decorated inside and unigue fragrants everywhere. Atmosphere inside, it looked like a mixed religion with Buddahism and local pagan.

Reviewed 10 June 2014

The view from up there is amazing. I like the temple and since its free no worries go as many times as you like! Make sure you carry water because it is hot and many steps to take!

Wat Saket is amazing structure of history and nature. Stairs lead you to the top,and you will enjoy every minute of it.
Do not forget to ring the bells which are hung all over the temple.

“Must visit !”
Reviewed 6 June 2014

I live nearby the Golden mount. for years, it is an amazing place to visit when you come to Thailand, you can get a good view of Bangkok city while walking up the mount. the temple is gold ( as stated by the name), up the mount there are Buddhas to pay respect and wish for luck with the old decoration with ancient thai history.

It is a must visit place for tourist !
