Stayed there as a less expensive alternative to the hotel hosting my business conference. They were overbooked and upgraded my reserved room from superior to deluxe poolside at no additional charge. This was a nice touch not always performed in Thailand. Good location only 5 minute walk from the river and 10 minutes from the sky train station. The staff were attentive and spoke good English. The hotel breakfast buffet was nice including an egg station, pancakes & pastries, assorted fruit, and some Asian offerings. The room was well appointed with sliding doors leading directly to a small pool (maybe 2 meters wide?). Only odd feature was the windows were not tinted, so I needed to keep the curtains closed or people could look directly into my room. This was not a bother as I wasn't in the room much. Leave hotel to the left and turn left on the little road just before the Shangri-La hotel and walk about 200 meters to a Thai food market serving cheap and authentic Thai meals. The restaurant at the hotel is decent too. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
