I stayed here for 2 nights very clean and friendly staff.. close to tesco and bts station. felt like you are in your own house, they have complimentary coffee and cookies. if you want to wash your clothes they have washing machine. and the mini library at the lobby is one of my favorite.. I will definitely recommend this hostel to my friends :)

Thought this was a really good hostal. Clean, good facilities with Kitchen, washing machine and place to dry clothes on the roof. The beds were good and my sheets were changed after 2 nights without me even asking! Really great atmosphere and easy to meet new people. Close to train station, 2 7-elevens, Tesco Lotus complex and night market.

I have stayed in this hostel three times within three months and I have no doubt that I will always want to stay in this hostel whenever I'll come back to Bangkok. It's just the perfect balance between affordable rooms, great people, a quiet and convenient location and ridiculously nice staff. The owners Zu and Benz truly succeed in making you feel at home. Having stayed in six other hostels in Bangkok before, I now know that - at least for my needs - this is just the best choice. Thank you so much again for making me and others feel so welcome and at home!!!

Room Tip: Try avoiding the beds right next to the A/C since you might get cold in the night.

Super friendly little place with 15 rooms we had a (small) room at the very top which had a seating area for about 15 people our room was very clean and had a tv with movie channels good for people who like a day of chilling out. bathroom was shared but clean, just about 10 min walk away from the biggest tesco lotus ive seen which will have just about every thing you can ever think of.

Room Tip: get a top floor room they are quieter

We have been really lucky with hostels since we have been in South East Asia and this is no different.
We arrived at 5:30am and obviously the hostel was locked up but opened at 6:00am. The women was really nice and we couldn't check in but she made us comfortable and offered us free food and drink. They worked hard to get us into our room ASAP as we were very tired.
The rooms are all really clean and so are the bathrooms :)
The cleaners change your sheets for you and give you clean towels after a couple days which is really nice.
Good aircon in rooms & really easy to meet people due to large lounge and kitchen area as well as roof top.
Great location as well with a awesome food area with hawkers opposite & 7/11 a 2 min walk. The BTS is an easy 5 min walk as is the night market and Tesco!
Would recommend this to anyone!

Hostels and Guesthouses are not cheap in Bangkok - especially compared to the rest of the SE Asia circuit. On average, you're looking at $10 a night. VX is an awesome choice. It's very close to the On Nut BTS stop. There are great local food options around, as well as a 7-11 and Tesco Lotus right down the road in case you're in need of some things before you head off to your next travel spot.

We booked a double room here for about $10 each. The room had AC, a really comfortable bed, and a shared bathroom. All of the facilities were really clean and the rooftop terrace is a nice spot to hang out. There is also free tea/coffee available in the kitchen.

I've been to Bangkok about 5 or 6 times - always just for a few days in between trips - and VX is my favorite hostel thus far. I'll be staying here again the next time I'm in BKK!

The cheapest hostel in BKK where I ever stayed. I booked 8 beds female dorm for one night. It cost only 245 baht. Toilets was quite clean and they provided towel for guests.

It's near Tesco Lotus, night market and skytrain. Very convenient. There was not many restaurant near hostel so it's better to eat outside before you come back.

From BTS Onnut station walk through Tesco Lotus around 400 meters. Hostel is on the left side.
