Owner description: A little slice of calm in the center of town, this Hindu shrine is situated on a busy junction. Always teeming with worshippers, it’s a photogenic spot where incense constantly burns and traditional Thai dancers in full costume are often found.

Great little temple, although really overcommercialized, still wonderfully real. I love the spirit around Thai Buddhism. You can buy your way into paradise.... Nice photo-opp for tourist who want a quick picture of Thai dancers. And in the midst of all the drama here there are some quiet prayers being said, so try not to be rude...

This small shrine will be seen alighting from the Chtlom BTS STATION. You will already notice the crowded people saying their pryaers, burning incense and giving offerings to the buddha. Not so much to see here.

Within walking distance to Chitlom BTS station. It's a beautiful place for prayer and respect. Buy joss stick, flowers, etc. in the erawan instead of outside stalls. There are many stalls outside selling the same thing at higher price. We will for sure visit again the next time we are in Bangkok.

For a first time in Bangkok discovering this shrines in the middle of a bustling area with street vendors supplying the flowers was intriguing. Once you step in the mix of worshippers, tourists, dancers and musicians all wrapped in heavy incense smoke is dazzling.
