In essence the Bangkok Boutique Hotel is just a tarted up motel but its location is a very convenient five minute walk from Petchaburi MRT station. There’s a Tesco and some other convenience stores a short walk away as well.
The room was quite large and was decorated tastefully and had a large flat screen tv. The mini-bar was also the most reasonably priced one I’ve ever come across. Only gripe would be the water in the shower which was temperamental and came out in spurts.
Breakfast is quite pitiful (some soggy toast, cordial instead of juice and dried-up fruit) and you could probably pick up something better, for less money at one of the convenience stores nearby so if you have the option in your booking, don’t bother.
Reception staff were also very friendly and helpful.
I would definitely consider staying here again on another trip to Bangkok. It really was good value.
