“Fantastic hotel in great location.”
Reviewed 25 February 2011

We were a bit worried about staying in Bangkok but this hotel was fantastic. Beautiful and big hotel at a decent price (booked on priceline). Excellent concierge services (especially Tommy and Anan). Staff was all super nice and accommodating. Restaurant prices a bit steep. Overall highly recommended.

I stayed at the Millennium Hilton Bangkok from 18 - 20 February 2011 where I attended a conference. The Millennium Hilton is the perfect hotel for both business and pleasure. The service was attentive right from the time I stepped out of Suvarnabhumi Airport where a BMW 7 series was waiting to whisk me off to the hotel. The room where I stayed at had a wonderful view of the river.

Buffet breakfast at the Flow Restaurant was hearty and sumptous with both Thai and Western selections. Having breakfast on the terrace by the Chao Phyra River while watching longboats and ferries saunter by was a memorable experience. At night, the Three-sixty rooftop bar offers a panoramic view of Bangkok city.

The hotel provides a free ferry service between the hotel and River City Mall and Sathorn Pier. From the latter, Samphan Thaksin BTS station is just a short walk away.

Unfortunately, we stayed here only for one night but our stay was absolutely great!!! Starting with the moment we got there - it is very easy to reach it with public transport - just take subway to Saphan Taksin station and from there there is a boat shuttle to Hilton.
The hotel itself is absoulety gorgeous!!! And inside it looks like some kind of a modern art museum! All the chandeliers and decorations are so unusual!
We had a room on the 23rd floor and the view was just BREATHTAKING!!! The room is very nice and the bathroom is stunnig (there is a bath and a shower cabin). After a really long day exploring Bangkok we enjoyed an outdoor jacuzzi on the 4th floor with a view on a night city. Also there is a gorgeous pool on the 4th floor and SPA area and a gym.
After that we went to the bar located on the 33rd top floor and it is just amazing!!! Relaxing music, calmig lounge music and absolutely spectacular view!
In the morning we took a quick tour around the hotel and I can tell thar there are a lot of bars and restaurants. Plus there is plenty of meeting space if you are planning some conference or event in Bangkok.
Breakfast was very good! The choice is excellent! We enjoyed our food on an outside terrace overlooking the river.
All the staff members are very polite and friendly!
I think that I can go on and on regarding this hotel! I fell in love with it! Excellent! Amazing! Gorgeous!!!

This is my second stay and again, I really want to go back. This is how much I love the Hilton in Bangkok. Again, we took the Executive Suite Plus which gives you access to the Executive Lounge plus a lot of goodies. The Suite is spacious and has amazing views of the river where there is just so much activity to keep you mesmerized. This time around, I took my son along and he enjoyed the swimming pool and `sandy beach'.

Do take time to enjoy a dinner at Maya. Its a 13 course Thai dinner (some dishes are super spicy but it would not be Thai otherwise) and has local thai entertainment. Even the waiter and waitresses all dance and they are VERY good.

I would like the compliment the staff at Hilton because they have been very polite and helpful. From concierge, to those who man MAGIC (phone centre) and also the guys at the piers. Especially the guys at the piers for their helpfulness and ensuring people get on and off the ferry (complimentary ferry service to River City and the BTS station which is 5 stops away from Siam Paragon and the Sukhumvit area). Also, the water tours are so easily arranged, you don't have to wait more than 10 minutes for a long tail boat.

Will definitely make a third stay there again, this year or next year whenever time permits me another holiday in Bangkok!

The price at this hotel are very reasonable. The place is along a riverfront. However, it is hard to say that convenient to get on BTS.

We stayed here for five nighgs in an executive room and took the online upgrade. Everythibg about this hotel and our stay was perfect. The executive lounge is a real treat with fantastic views over the city - and complimentary drinks and food. Everything can be organised from the executive lounge. We had a really pleasant private boat trip down the river, stopping at a couple of temples. now we have found a hotel to return to every time we come to Thailand. Te perfect place to spend a few days recoering from the journey.
