The hotel exceeded my expectations upon arrival. Located in a quiet upscale neighborhood which was good considering the hustle & bustle of BKK. Rooms were clean and spacious (perhaps due to the upgrade I received) and as always, the front desk people were friendly. The breakfast was good and had everything you need, but due to the size of the restaurant, it was a bit loud, so either go early or late to avoid the crowd. They also have a daily credit for you to choose drinks or snacks from a vending machine and complimentary coffee in the lobby. I would consider staying here again in the future.

The hotel location is good, and the staff were all very nice and helpful. The room is big and spacious; it also have a kitchenette area! Facilities at the hotel include the indoor swimming pool (Salt water) , sauna, golf putting green, library, restaurant, and free tuk-tuk service to BTS Chidlom Station.
Also nearby are popular fashion and shopping hubs such as Central World, Central Embassy, Siam Center, Siam Paragon and Pratunam Market, as well as the most sacred Erawan Shrine or Four Face Buddha, which are just 10 minutes walk away.
Mercury Ville Living Mall is a bright red assymetrical building located at the intersection of Lang Suan Street and Ploenchit Road just opposite Central Chidlom

Room Tip: Big spacious room with safe and everything you need

We rented a van for our big group and realised that this hotel does not have a place to park! The other 2 other hotels we stayed before this allowed us to park around the drive-through area. This hotel does not have the space and did not provide any solution to such a situation! On day 1, we were asked to park at Lumpini park carpark about 10 min walk away. With vague instruction such as just drive straight, we used our GPS to find the aforesaid carpark, but that was closed at night! They did not even verify this information! We had to find another open carpark 1km away from the hotel. When we went back to ask the reception for a solution, there was no solution, no empathy. Only when we asked to transfer hotel, did they call their "manager" and the suggestion was to park at their sister hotel -Centrepoint Ploenchit and take a cab back every time we wish to park and collect it every morning when we go out. This is a service apartment and big families will choose this hotel, and big families will drive a big car. Did the management not think of striking a deal with some neighbours to allow for parking spaces? Totally not impressed with their service. Our vacation was very stressful staying in this hotel. Totally disappointed.
Despite the above, my rating of the hotel is objective:
- The water pressure is very weak and the water heater is not working properly. It is either very hot or very cold. Frustrating to have a bath.
- The room is rather dated. Furnitures are dated and old.
- The location is poor - far from anywhere and that explains why they provide tut tut service.
The redemption is probably the bed. Lucky thing that we could still have a good sleep. We will never return and never recommend. There are so many better choices out there.

I booked this hotel for my friends. The room we reserved was a Deluxe Twin room. When they first checked in, the room they were assigned was 1101, which didn't look like the room showing on booking.com. Then they found the vending machine was so noisy and they couldn't get sleep, They talked to the concierge about the vending machine and the staff didn't look surprised, seemed they already have been aware the problem before. My friends were then assigned to another room in 7/F which was bigger. However we would like to raise the concern to the hotel about their disappointment that the front desk staff was not being honest and assigned the room with problem to the guest until they made a complain. Hope the hotel won't do this to other guests again as it does hurts the reputation of the hotel and the trust with the customers. Not likely for us to come back to Centre Point Chidlom as there are plenty of better choices within Bangkok. Others
Dislike: Small swimming pool No lobby lounge.

Spent 4 nights here and have no complaints what so ever! Our deluxe room was spacious, clean comfortable and well appointed. The writing desk was well used as unfortunately, it was a working trip! The kitchenette facilities make it possible to make a simple breakfast, or whatever we desired really as it was sufficiently equipped. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Green and cooling Lumphini Park within 5 minutes walk or 3 shopping centres and a Skytrain station less than 5 minutes walk the other direction. Lots of eating options in the street near the hotel or in and around the shopping centres. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Free WIFI and also the free Tuk Tuk shuttle to the Skytrain station were greatly appreciated.

Room Tip: Higher floor rooms afford better views.
