Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in March 2014, when the hotel had only one month of "life". We paid 40 euros per night for a double room. Casa Nithra is a very charming hotel with a very nice, polite and helpful staff. The room was perfectly clean, very confortable bed, nice bathroom, with a relaxing atmosphere and a thai personality. The swimming pool on the roof is a plus (such a pity that the small bar on the roof was not active yet). Also the position is perfect: 10 min walk from Khao San Rd. We didn't try any food service like breakfast or dinner. Strongly recommended!

First of all, the location of the hotel is good, it is far from the protest sites and close to the tourist attractions. The cosy khao san road is also close to this hotel (can recommend this for dinner/drinks in the evening). Wifi works good as well, and we can recommend the suite! Too bad there was only cold water when I wanted to take a bath...while there was hot water in the shower. Only on the 2nd day did we get warm water in the bathtub as well. The beds are really comfortable!! One of the most comfortable we've ever slept on. Only 2 English channels on the TV. Other than that, I strangely lost my perfume in this hotel room, while Im 100% sure I never left it from my toilet case (as I did in the last hotel for 2 weeks). So my guess is that it got stolen as I dont see how it got lost elsewise. The hotel provides a safe, so I'd recommend to make use of that or keep valuables closed in your bag!

Good value for money. Gorgeous suite and excellent service. The drains were smelly which let the room down but not sure they could do much about that!

Perfect location - walking distance to ferry amd kho san.

The pool was lovely but there are not enough beds around it.

The breakfast was ok.

I recomended this hotel and hope it staus as friendly and good value when its become more popular!

We liked Casa Nithra. The rooms are clean, stylish and comfortable; we slept really well here. Got a good deal with booking.com and thought it good value. The staff were all very pleasant and it has a small boutiquey feel about the place rather than being an impersonal big city hotel.
Liked the location, only about ten minutes straight down Samsen Road to the busy Kao San Road; easily walkable to ferry piers and local markets. We checked out at noon on our last day and spent the afternoon by the rooftop pool before going out for the evening and returning later to collect our bags; no problems.
Wi fi was a bit temperamental and the breakfast was disappointing. The service was random and the tea was rank; I don't really think they'd grasped the idea of the western breakfast they were trying to offer. We'd got used to buffet style at other hotels but at Casa Nithra they have two set choices presented on a laminated sheet of A4: 'Set A' is a big bowl of salad (eh?), followed by two eggs any style, a grim looking fat frankfurter sausage and crispy bacon, toast (eventually) and a sad croissant. 'Set B' was a huge bowl of fruit with muesli and yogurt with cold toast and a croissant. I tried both and I'm glad there wasn't a third morning for us. There was a lot of waste with guests leaving the majority of their salads and 90 percent of the grim sausages. I think it's because they looked like dismembered thumbs.
The hotel has a pleasant dining area and I think a buffet choice would be a vast improvement. If a good breakfast is important to you then perhaps this isn't your best choice.
There's no bar but plenty of drinking holes nearby. Don't miss Adhere the 13th Blues Bar on the opposite side of the road up towards Kao San. Twice nightly blues sessions and a cracking atmosphere.

We stayed here for 2 nights over valentines day before flying back to the UK and everything about the hotel was perfect.
The Rooms are spacious, Comfy and have an excellent Bathroom. The rooftop pool is a lovely break from the busy streets of Bangkok getting sun until late in the afternoon. We had breakfast at the hotel on the front terrace, the food is brilliant and the staff were extremely helpful.

The reception staff were absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for them. My boyfriend had ordered some flowers for Valentines day, which they arranged and then decorated our room with rose petals - they really did go above and beyond and never gave anything away to me.
The hotel itself is a short/Safe way to Khao San road and very easy to grab taxi's/Tux Tux from outside if you are going slightly further away. If you ask the porter he will flag one down for you and generally gets a slightly better price for you, which is always nice.
We are hoping to go back here next year and will definitely be staying at this hotel again.
