The room here is nice and clean

Then there is a complimentary for hotel guess for hotel gym and sauna

The operation hour for sauna is up to midnight so it is quite flexible for those who finished shop

Location here is quite convenience with 10 mins walking distance can reach to BTS and it is nice to many malls (terminal 21, jasmine, time square)

Had lunch at the China Table with the newly opened Radisson Blu Plaza at Sukhumvit 27. A wonderful experience.... the restaurant is airy, with lots of natural lighting, very tastefully decorated. We ordered 2 set luncheon menu, very good food, generous portion and nicely presented. When asked if they can take out the seafood as my friend is allergic to it the last minute, they are so accommodating and came back with no issue. The staff are friendly, very service oriented, uniform are chic, definitely will go back to the China Table..... we all love it.

Stayed for 3 nights in the very impressive 5 star Radisson Blu. This is a brand new hotel ideally situated in Bangkok. The attention to detail is superb, the staff could not be more helpful, cant wait to stay there again.

Room Tip: The higher up the better the view of Bangkok.

Brand new hotel in a very convenient location. Check in was fast and smooth, with well-trained staffs at reception, very polite and professional. Negative point is the spa center is still under construction and the pool/pool bar area was left unattended.

We booked a grand deluxe room for 3 nights from 15 May. Checking in was fast, staff at the reception were polite but English needed improvement for a 5-star standard.

Our room on the 18th floor has a clean modern design. Not luxurious. The trouble we had was the airconditoning. Its too cold for our liking. No matter how we adjusted the temperature, it went down to 19 degrees C. We gave up and turned it off during the night. Then it got a bit too warm because the blanket was too thick.

When it comes to room service, its not quite up to 5 star standard although the price was. On the first morning, my husband ordered room service - 1 order of 2 boiled eggs at 340 bahts to be delivered at 6 am (he had to leave early but breakfast at 27 bites restaurant did not start until 6.30 am). According to the menu, the eggs should come with roasted potatoes and sauteed cherry tomatoes (see photo attached). But 4 eggs were delivered and the bill was 680 bahts plus service and tax. Apparently someone mistook that it was 2 orders. Whats more the eggs were served with soya and tomato sauce but not roasted potatoes and sauteed tomatoes as advertised! And the eggs were half done and luke warm. We complained and returned the eggs and the hotel had the wisdom of not charging us anything but my husband had to go without breakfast.

That said, the buffet breakfast at 27 bites restaurant had a good selection of food but expensive. By the way, the 500 bahts credit for food and beverage per room per night (for grand opening promotion) could not be accumulated.

Location wise, its about 10 minutes walk from the nearest BTS Asok station. There is a shopping mall Terminal 21 next to the station, other larger shopping malls are located at Chit Lom, 3 stations away and the fare is 25 bahts.

From the airport to the hotel, the taxi fare we paid was 250 bahts including airport surcharge. Return fare was about the same. Its not advisable to take the airport train and make a connection to Asok BTS station as there were flights of steps from the station to the street level, and the road was quite rugged for wheeling luggages.

The only advantage is its new. Otherwise, there are a lot more better choices of accommodation in Bangkok.

Completely new hotel in the heart of Bangkok, located very near Asok BTS station or the MRT. Beautiful fresh featurses, nice design, alert staff, excellent lobby bar and very nice restaurants, but expensive.

I and my daughter stayed at Radisson Blu Plaza - Bangkok from 15th to 18th May 2014.
The hotel is brand new and centrally located in the heart of Sukhumvit. Cannot find any fault with this property as each and every detail of interior and exterior has been perfectly designed.
27 bites restaurant serves good buffets and in-room dining service is also quick and nicely presented. I personally like the nice aroma in the room / bathroom and all other public areas within the hotel premises. It gives us a very pleasant feeling right trough out the day.

The only negative point that I have noticed at this hotel is the pool bar staff was not attentive. We were trying to place an order by the pool and nobody was available to fulfill our requirement. Basically the bar counter was left unattended for more than 15 minutes while we were waiting to place the order.

However the most important and amazing part of this hotel is the front office, house-keeping and the restaurant / lobby bar staffs.
They have got well trained and an extraordinary staffs who look after every detail of clients' needs. They are also well aware who the client is and what he/she needs !
The moment we stepped into the hotel after a long flight, I couldn't believe the way we were received by the front office staff. They went out of their way to make ourselves comfortable there. So the first impression was fabulous ! Everybody was so kind and always had a nice smile in their faces. But while attending to our matters, they were so serious and professional.

I have well noticed that this humor is lacking at most of other five-stars around the world.
But Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok is very impressive as far as their PR is concerned.

If I give 100 points to this hotel, 90 marks will certainly be allocated for the staff, especially the front office.
