I stayed here for a few days in 2007 when it was a Sofitel hotel and I thought it quite nice. However I stayed there one month ago it seems to have really gone down hill. My room was dirty. My friend and I went to have breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel and the food was disgusting. I barely ate anything, and ended up getting room service. The room service lady was extremely rude, I asked her politely if it would be possible to get it quickly as I was due to check out shortly and she said no and hung up on me. I ordered a hamburger that turned up half raw, which I hadn't realised until I had bit into it. I don't mind rare meat, but this was raw. I travelled to Phuket that night and woke up in the middle of the night violently ill which I can only assume is due to the food at this hotel. I didn't get sick for the rest of my holiday.
One more thing I should note, when I stayed there in 2007 I was 25 and staying by myself. I got called by a prostitute in my room asking me if I wanted anything. I asked her who she was and she ended up hanging up. Obviously the hotel was in on it because she knew my room number and I'm guessing they called because I was staying alone. It didn't really bother me and thought it was funny at the time, but just want to warn you if that would freak you out.

Booked this hotel as it was not far from Nana Plaza and was very close to Nana BTS plus we needed a 2 bedroom suite.
Have to say I was a tad disappointed with the living area mainly in the condition of the fixtures and fittings which are starting to show signs of wear.
The bedrooms were however very comfortable as were the en suite bathrooms.
Kitchen had all the appliances you could need and generally in good condition.
The hotel facilities were good, the spa was great and the massages were good, although they were 5 times the price of local parlours nearby.
All in all I would return to the hotel and recommend to my friends, however you are paying top end prices for Bangkok and I think for similar money you could do a little better at JW Marriott or The Landmark.

Upon check in we were told by the receptionist (Arunwan Boonsean) that our tour operator booked my husband & myself in a double room. And she said " That doesn't sound right" and upgraded us to a suite so we could get a King bed. That was a wonderful surprise considering we were celebrating our 6th year wedding anniversary.

The location was in a tourist area but you can easily walk around and explore the area by foot. FIne with us.On the first night though we heard hammering at 3:30am. I reported the noise the following morning when the hammering sound woke me at around the same time. I was told the noise was coming from the building outside. So they called for them to stop the activity. We were given a complimentary plate of fruit for the inconvenience. That was unexpected and appreciated by us.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast buffet was also sumptuous. The staff were very friendly and helpful because as tourists we definitely had a lot of questions.

I have this hotel as a gift from travel agent and the room type is silver. Room is big, but bathroom is very small. The room is modern but getting old - not easy to tell the furniture is cheap. Bed is comfy. I asked for a room with good view, they assigned me a room that is very close to next building - that i can see people taking bath. View is bad. Tried their restaurant, food is not freash - obviously the hotel is keen to save cost. Many good hotel around, but you may book this one if you get big big discount. It is a hotel with international 4 stars tag, but in fact a 3 stars hotel.

This hotel is in the Nana area. Very sleazy. Approach road is being constructed. Narrow and took us 45 mins to cross 100 metres.

The rooms were large but poor design and housekeeping was avergage.

Food was decent. But the overall ambience was cheesy and not recommended for family.

The spa though was fabulous... one masseuse in particular was very good.

We booked this hotel at a steal. 2 nights for 3 pax with free daily international buffet breakfast at SGD $165 per night.

We were firstly charmed by the spacious room that had ample walking space despite having 3 beds. The bathroom was huge, with bathtub, standing bath and the necessary toilet facilities. There were many free TV channels for us, from HBO to BBC, though they weren't much useful since Bangkok had so much for us to be occupied with out of the hotel. We absolutely love the breakfast spread every morning, with on-the-spot fried eggs, cooked noodles, Chinese, Continental and even Japanese food! The free tuk-tuk service to send us out to the BTS Nana station was much appreciated since the hotel is located behind the quiet lane of Soi 6.
This leads me to the downside of the hotel location. For the 3 of us, all girls, it was slightly of a goosebump experience everynight as we walked back to the hotel. The lane is poorly lit with vehicles zooming past. We would have wished for the tuktuk to pick us up at the station back. That would have been most wonderful.
The bathroom mirror had a huge stain but no effort had been made to remove it, making is very unsightly and a thorn in the otherwise very lovely room.
We were slightly disappointed to know that the 3rd bed was a makeshift instead of a proper one as depicted in the website picture.

However, all bad feelings were demolished at the last minute when we were leaving Bangkok. I had earlier misplaced my book in the room. To my relief, the housekeeping had kept it safely and even wrapped it up with plastic, awaiting for my return to retrieve it.

A worthy stay for the price, but better had a man around to feel safer walking down the lonely lane.
