Stayed 4 nights here in February with wife and 22 month old son. The reservation process via the e-mail form was easy. I made a change to the dates via e-mail. The changes were promptly made and a personalized e-mail sent clearly confirming the changes.

The hotel is easily confused with the Dynasty Inn (not Grande), which is a block away, so be clear about the "Grande" part if you're getting a taxi or tuk-tuk. Paid 450 Baht from the new airport, but that was without the meter and included a lot of bags and all the tolls.

The hotel was very clean everywhere - lobby, restaurant, outside, and the room. All of the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff were very friendly, like most Thais seem to be. They were always helpful and courteous.

Our room was a large "deluxe" (back building) and was very clean. We had free internet access in the room, free coffee maker, a sofa, a desk, a refrigerator, and a king bed.

The fitness center is huge. Two walls of the gym are all glass windows looking down onto the street for an open feel. It is one of the best fitness centers I have ever seen in a hotel, and I stay in hotels about 150 nights a year. A small variety of cardio equipment (all in excellent working order) and almost any machine you can think of for strength training is present. All of it appeared to be new. There is also a whole set of free weights going up to 65-lb dumbells. Free bottled water is provided. The posted hours were kind of weird: 8am-8pm, but there's no lock on the door (yet), so maybe the hours aren't enforced. There are no guest rooms on that floor, so I don't know what the reason for the hours is. Photos are attached.

The restaurant is pretty good, with a nice American-style breakfast available (i.e., eggs, meat, toast, and potatoes) for a reasonable price, and an assortment of Asian and Western food for lunch and dinner. We ate there twice for breakfast and once for a late dinner. Everything was good, but once we found the nearby Starbucks that's where we went for breakfast. There are too many little hidden gem restaurants in the area to eat at the hotel too much. On Soi 8, just south of Sukhumvit Road, try Namuskaar for Indian food, Kinnaree for a very nice Thai restaurant, and Stable Lodge for cheap and delicious Thai food in a relaxed (or poolside) setting. (Photos attached)

We would stay here again, as the price, location, value and staff were all great.

Very pleased with my choice of hotel.
Last year I stayed in the Sheraton, which was excellent.
I decided to go for the Dynasty Inn Grande to save a bit on dough but still receive an above average quality of hotel service.

I can definitely recommend this hotel.
Everything clean and service on a high level.
VERY GOOD VALUE.
Great location.
Will definitely be coming back here next time I visit!

Not to be confused with the other Dynasty hotel on Soi 3, the DG is a 4/5 star hotel between Soi 3/6, 5 minutes from Sukhumvit road, the sky train & metro,& 5 min walk from NEP.
Transfer from the new hotel was only 30 minutes (not in rush hour!)
Check -in:
Quick and friendly...typically Thai. Lobby is modern with a bar & restaurant. Outside eating/drinking area...very nice, as is the food!
Rooms;
The rooms are in 2 blocks, either side of the pool via very quick (for a change!) lifts.
My room, 604, was very spacious, modern, clean, and looked brand new. King size bed with perfect sheets....very nice. The bathroom was large and had a bath and large shower, all tiled with marble...again all new...A sofa & coffee table, and a desk...no comlaints at all!!
Pool:
3rd floor, large, with sunloungers & towels. I didn't use it but it looked OK.
Restaurant:
No buffet breakfast in this hotel but I had a variaty of meals here...morning and night and the quality & service were supurb. I had room service in the early hours...hot food & quick!
Overall:
Good location, depending on why you are in town, supurb VFM...2800 bart/£40 direct with hotel. I got a their Limo to the airport 900b. No charge for a guest....but they do for moret han 1. Staff were very professional and always on hand. A good business class hotel. Sorry, no photos, but others on the site are a good likeness.

Dynast Inn Grande, not to be confused with Dynasty Inn (same owners), is a great value hotel. New and efficient, I paid about $80 for my room, not including breakfast. I wasn't there long enough to really check out the facilities, but the pool looked nice, and the gym seemed to have new equipment (although not a lot of equipment).

Bathroom included tub and shower, and was quite big. The room in general had plenty of space, and the hotel is tucked away from soi 4, so tends to be a bit more quiet.

I would certainly consider staying here again.
