Good value, but some of the rooms smell like pee. Lots of drunk old men (hence the smell) and families, but fine. Good room service and restaurant, service is average. Good location.

My son died here last year, they didn't find him in his room for 10 days!!! In the police report the staff interviewed all had different stories. And worst of all personal belongings of my son money and belongings were missing when they arrived back in the U.K.!!!! I have emailed 100's of times and they won't even reply to answer my questions. My son died of natural causes. THINK VERY HARD BEFORE STAYING HERE !!!

I stayed in this hotel for one night before shifting to next because I just couldn't stay even it is very cheap. This is a hotel for those on very very very tight budget. It is only for sleep only, enough said........

First Stayed at The Honey in 1989 must of stayed around 30 times over its almost unchanged since then, although Pool View rooms have been upgraded and some carpet/decor etc....has the same feel every time i stay, the Restaurant/coffee shop is a well known stop off point for expats and workers and the Menu has also been barely unchanged even the prices have not increased dramaticaly for 20 years...!!!! even now its still great value and the food is great, same service from most of the same people including the 'Old Style' Taxi drivers downstairs it hardly changes, some rooms are very dark as some don't get daylight, stairs only but ok if you stick with 1st floor if you have problems walking, they seem to have many repeat customers and expats use them when in Bangkok..not ideal for a family looking for 5 star accommodation with all the frills but the single traveler on a budget its ideal benefits from being Central in Sukhumvit close the train station close to entertainment areas, safes are provided downstairs Bathrooms can be dark and dull and beds have always been very comfortable, and towels are great some rooms are small and dull but i still use them, room rates have not changed a big amount since the late 80's..!!! maybe up by 250 baht since first visit, if full Try their sister hotel 10 minutes away The Federal bigger and better but higher price better rooms but same feel about the whole place.
Good value Recommended for a few nights stay.

Room Tip: Front Rooms but higher price.

Cane here by a friend suggestion.
Location good, hotel quite old and worn pout but nevertheless comfortable. The staff are very experienced, speak good english and are very helpfull. Cleanliness is not the top but still ok. Price is very low compared to other hotels in the area.

This is a good budget hotel in a good location in Bangkok. The hotel itself is quite old and the rooms show it but they are clean and everything worked fine including aircon. It looks like they are slowly renovating each floor. Used the pool and it was great. We ate and drank beside the pool and opposite at the "Sachas" boutique hotel "bistro 19" which was also good value.

If you want a cheap (900THB) hotel close to Asok Skytrain station. Honey is for you. Just dont expect 5 star! Each room comes with one complimentary breakfast in the adjoining cafe which was nice food.
