Home from home

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 20 Jul 2019
This is a wonderful hotel whose staff make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. It has a rustic charm and every part of the hotel is beautifully decorated and painted. It is a quiet hotel, set back from the business of bustling Bangkok, but within walking distance to many local sights and eateries. Home made breakfast is included every morning, with two to three choices of hot meals, then breads and spreads as well. Really tasty and sets you up for the day. Staff are very friendly and would go out of their way to help you. You can tell they really appreciate that you chose to stay with them on your trip.

Very nice hotel and funny rooms.
We recommand this hotel as a very good place in bangkok.

It is worth the stay here to see and enjoy the artistic design and painting throughout this hotel. How wonderful intriguing and beautiful each room and space are decorated. This hotel is definitely along the lines of unique European botique hotels. Breakfast included each morning is definitely sufficient and the choices of hot teas are very nice. Staff were very helpful providing assistance getting a taxi using the Thai Grab app. Good location, beautifully decorated, great staff. Definitely worth a stay if you like boutique hotels.

It is like staying at your good friend's house. The whole hotel and rooms have a genuine 'your childhood' feel of the simpler 60s and 70s with all the natural pleasantness of a home not a hotel The staff are naturally helpful and sincere about addressing your every concern. like a neighbour helping you out. If you want to be away from the madness of Bangkok City and the shopping area, this small unassuming place about 20 mins away from the city is perfect. 7 Eleven, a bank with currency exchange, and the main road to hail a taxi or tuk tuk are all just outside 2 mins away. Major sights and river taxi all about 10-20 mins away. One of the best places we have stayed which greatly enhanced our holiday. A natural unpolished gem! Tas

Room tip: Family room for an even better experience.

After a few years I am back here with my son of 8 years old. We loved it. The staff is always friendly, the rooms and the hotel are ultra clean and so well decorated. Very ‘at home’ feeling. Breakfast really yummie. Highly recommended! It’s not close to the main Bangkok attractions, so you have to take a tuk tuk or taxi often. At the time of this review the bar and resto were closed at 4pm, which is not so convenient when travelling with children. But that is really the only minus.

Very interesting decor throughout the property. It's decorated with old appliances like TVs, cameras, and sewing machines. Lovely open-air dining area (which got interesting during the heavy rains). Interesting location tucked away down a short driveway. Was difficult to find at night. But a great area with great food and convenience stores in easy/safe walking distance.
