My husband and I stayed 5 nights in this brand new B & B. Chris, our host, has been living in Bangkok for a year, I think, so he knows his way around and had excellent recommendations for our exploration. The place is on a quiet soi in a residential neighborhood. We found this to be a big positive. We enjoy walking and the location allows for easy access to the river ferry, the subway and skytrain,15 minutes to the tourist area of Silom, a huge riverfront shoppping center called Asiatique. Taxis and tuktuks are readily available. Because there was no catering to tourists, we gained a better understanding of Thai daily life. There is a long street a block away with loads of fresh fish, fruit and vegetables for sale and prepared food to sample. Chris' place is beautifully decorated in the rooms bathrooms and lobbies. Our room had 2 big windows, great light and a wonderful city skyline view. All is very clean and modern. The breakfasts were prepared to order and we had excellent french press coffee. Chris is very warm and welcoming and a fun conversationalist. We highly recommend!

I m a lot in Bangkok for work - this time with my sister for a 2 nights stop during her travel through Asia. "Kama" is a very nice place - made with so much love, cool furnitures, all great, the rate is actually a gift for what "Chris" offers ;-) He is a great host, a brilliant cook, the best fresh juice maker and anything you will need during your stay at KAMA, he will help you to organize!!! It was a pleasure for us to be the FIRST guests. Looking forward to come back and stay there some more times..
