Hotel is really well located, but the deluxe room was dingy and the furniture worn. There were also stains on the sofa and scuffs all over the bathroom floor. The paint on the side of the bathroom sink was peeling badly. The worst part however was the smell of the drains in the bathroom; whenever we came back to our room, the smell was overpowering. Another serious issue was how thin the walls were; we could hear our neighbours' conversation clearly which made sleep difficult. On the plus side, the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Great location, 5metes from the chong nonsi BTS station.
Street food market and McDonald's just downstairs, great for breakfast.
Nice pool on the roof.
Many stains all over the bedroom and hotel carpet, it's really disgusting. The bed sheets were with several stains, but we ask them to changed and they do it.
The furniture need a renovation, them was broken and very bad looking.
The wall are to thin, and we can hear all the conversation on the room next door.

I stayed here on two separate occassions recently, getting a fantastic price via Agoda. The first visit I had a 5th floor room in the front block of the hotel. The room was very large, nicely designed, good lighting, Big TV with good station choice, a decent bathroom and comfy bed with good linens. Ample storage space, room safe, ironing board etc. Slight issues were that the water temperature in the shower was hard to adjust to remain constant but otherwise I enjoyed my few days here. Shame you have to pay for wi-fi although there are free terminals near reception. I like the location of the hotel as you are a short walk to some good restaurants (Lek seafood and Eat Me are two of my favourites here) and the great street food of Soi Convent, 7-11 on the corner and a few coffee shops nearby. The BTS is right outside the door, just two stops to riverside, three to Siam. Housekeeping can be a bit erratic timing wise, but did a good job.
2nd visit was in a room on the 9th floor of the middle building one floor below the swimming pool, again great sized room with the same amenities (both times Grand deluxe). Happy to stay here again if I can get the bargain rate I got this time

Room Tip: The front block has slightly bigger rooms

I have stayed in this hotel approximately one year ago and thought it was adequate.

For reasons that staff could not explain, they have stopped providing free internet (WiFi and Cable) in the rooms and now charge 100 baht per day extra for internet in the room.

They have also stopped providing 2 free (small) bottles of water per day and now charge 30 baht per small bottle of water.

The reception area is located underground in the car park area and is not a particularly good introduction to the hotel.

My room on the 9th floor had large glass windows/doors that opened onto a 60 cm ledge with no protection at all. Around the swimming pool there is also a glass wall with signs stuck to it advising people not to lean against it. The usual standards of Occupational Health and Safety are sadly lacking in this hotel.

There are two other hotels within 50 and 200 metres walk from i Residence that do not have the same issues as identified above, that I have stayed in recently (past 3 months), and will chose again rather than i Residence.

Room Tip: The standard or superior rooms have a view of a brick wall or the neighbouring buildings windows. As...

This hotel has a great location, right opposite bts station and one station away from patpong market, for example. Lots of restauraants in the nearby, 7-eleven, and so on.
Swimming pool is nice, well designed, even there are not many chairs for sun bathing.
I cant cooment food, because i stayed on room only basis.
Room size was not bad and bed size was very good. Room view was the bts station, wich it is not the best ones, and ghe blind could not stop light from coming in from outside, wich was quite uncomfortable when you want to sleep.
Bathroom was small.
Maid serviice was unefficient, letting toilet out of toilet paper and it zeemed they just make the bed and empty the litter baskets.

I stayed here for two nights on business trip. The hotel was centrally located in center of downtown silom-sathorn area. Just a short 5 min. to skytrain. They also offer free-car park. However, very limited space and very small space and difficult to park if your car is bigger than mid-size. The room has been renovated, but not recently. All in all in up-to-date fashion.

Talk about downside.. The staffs, however, are quite a bit cold.
The lobby is small, so as the room size. Not much activity in the hotel.
Hot water runs too hot or cold only, cannot adjust to warm. Maybe only our room.
Noted that this hotel **not offer complimentary drinking water**, which I've never experience
this in any hotel in Thailand! a bottle of water in room was 25 baht, which considered pricey here.

All in all, I would stay here for my business trip. For vacation travel, this hotel is good up to 2k baht.
Over than this should count as overpriced and you would probably find a better hotel.

I booked this hotel via PYO travel and as such got the room at a very good deal for approx almost half of it's original price indicate on their website. That being said, i have not much complains although if i did pay the original price i would have expected much more.

First of all, the location is strategic, right opposite Chong Nonsi BTS and with a 7 Eleven and McDonald right next door.

The reception area could use a little upkeeping. The rooms are decent, air-conditioned, flat screen TV, hot water & basic toiletries. Breakfast is provided, an average spread but shouldn't really complain given that i got a good deal for this room. There is also a swimming pool on the rooftop of the hotel.

I have to note that the bathroom smells slightly funny coming from the drainage (stagnant water etc) but the smell went away once you let the tap run a little and since i travelled with friends, this was evident with their room as well.

Take the room if it's on a good deal but i wouldn't if it's for its original price as i think there would be far better option in BKK.
