Rather old hotel in the city center with very green territory. Rooms are small. If you'll stay more than 1 night, nobody will clean your room. You even don't find a sign on your door handle to make up room. Also, there is no own fridge in the room, only 2 big fridges for guests on the 1st and 3rd floor. In the room you also don't find glasses, only 2 small bottles of drinking water. What's good that you can leave your luggage here 10 b per day/ per bag. Lots of guests use this service.

Lamphu House is a decent functional hotel that is ideal for a couple of nights in Bangkok. While not particularly inspiring, in terms of the décor, it is clean and comfortable and good value for money. The wifi worked well throughout the hotel. There is a travel agency in the reception area that's open till 8pm. They arranged transport for me from Bangkok to Koh Chang as well as 2 airport transfers, all went without any issues. the rooms were comfortable, I had one with a fan which kept me cool during the night. The shared showers were cleaned regularly and I never had any issues waiting for a free shower or toilet. There is also a restaurant in the reception area for you to have breakfast, lunch or dinner or tea coffee etc. The hotel itself is in a nice location far enough away from the Khao Road that you won't be bothered by noise or drunken backpackers. However, as soon as you step out of the hotel there's lots of activity in terms of street food, market stalls, restaurants etc. One word of warning, the hotel is set back from Rambuti Road and there are no signs telling you it's there.

This is my third stay in Lamphu house and am so happy that they have maintained the standards. This time i opted for the cheapest private room which had a Fan,Window towards the corridor,A clean bed & sheets,A bottle of drinking water,Towel,Door Mat,Hanging Racks,Table & chair. They charged only Baht 290 but i think it was worth much more. The place is very silent & clean and the greenery in the courtyard is a setting in itself.

Room tip: Rooms with balcony are the best but rates are higher.

I had stayed here for only one night. Rooms are spacious. It has a very good vibe despite being next to the party capital it's a quite place. Has a garden and a very peaceful. Despite having stayed only for one day, I could come back to them with our queries and has a very helpful travel information desk.Staff is very helpful and friendly.
