Very friendly staff. Helpful. Perfect location for me, right next to Sky train, nice quiet street, convenience store, laundry, cash machine all across the road. Plenty of bars and restaurants in close proximity. Rooms adequate. Shared bathrooms. No complaints.

When you need a place only for sleeping it's certainly nice. Small bedroom, large bathroom with things you need. Quiet located next to the Skytrain. Friendly reception. WiFi available.

Room Tip: Just ask at check-in.

suppose to stayed there 2 nights, what a rubbish hotel, small, expensivee for price, dirty bed cloths, some staff very ignorant, best advice for travellers is not to go there, after 1 night we checked out and went across the road to the honey hotel, cheaper and much nicer and friendly staff.

overpriced small rooms with even smaller bathrooms. dirty bedsheets and humid bathrooms. staff unfriendly and not really helpful. the roof-top-terrace-experience consists of a damaged bench and an ashtray on a middle-high building. The only plus is the location, but there are so many other hotels around which might a better deal for almost the same price.

Nothing fancy. You get what you pay for. Aircon not good enough to cool the small room. Only stay if you want to be in the location and other hotels are fully booked.

I travel to Bangkok very often because the food is good, culture is cool, and shopping is great. Been staying in few 5 stars hotel around town until i found this lodge in airport's free booklet. Been staying here ever since.

The best thing about Sam's lodge is its location. BTS asoke station & subway Sukumvit station is right outside the lodge. There's also the Motorcycle riders as well as tuk tuks everywhere the second u come down from the lodge.

Robinson department store is right in front of Sam's Lodge. There's 711, japanese food, u name it they have it. Sam's lodge's staff had always been very nice and helpful for the past 5 years that i've been staying there. I once misplaced my passport and i told the receptionists at 4am in the morning after i came back from clubbing at RCA. 4am in the morning and the receptionists came into my room to help me find my passport. MY GOD !!! i've never seen anyone as close to heart as Sam's lodge people =) *thumbs up*

I never need to lock my luggages because i once forgot to lock a big pile of shopping cash and went out without realizing it and i rushed back. My room was all tidy, and all towel was replaced with new ones, and ... my money, they put it nicely on top of my bed. Very very honest *thumbs up*

Their room is always clean and cozy. Ok, maybe not as 'high class' as a 5 star hotel but believe me, for the price, u can spend your money on shopping and food.

The owner has a tailor shop under the lodge. And the owners are very very friendly too =) The receptionists will assist u from getting around town, getting to the place u wanna go, getting delicious food, to any ridiculous questions that u popped out your mouth.

She even gave me a choice of the best hospitals and plastic surgery hospitals because i intended to find out more about bangkok's plastic surgery *gosh* It's amazing. Very very very helpful.

I highly recommend this hotel to those who love to travel, or traveling with friends. Those who want to save some money and spend it on everything else but expensive hotel. Those who stayed 18 hours a day outside and only need a bed to throw yourself on and sleep =)

Really, it's very very very worth it.
