Stayed with family . The sky bars were closed, the staff were rude. The meal did not have our choices on the menu. We could not even have the wine we ordered on the menu. What is the point of siam@siam??

I am currently staying at this hotel. We have just returned from a beautiful meal and cannot buy a drink in any of the bars here - they have refused us a drink IN ALL OF THEM !! We are mature travellers with our grown up children - staying in 2 executive suites. Get your act together Siam@siam - the customer should be able to get a drink in at least one of your bars at 11.30 at night. We only needed a night cap - but now we have to say good night in one of your - quite frankly less than average rooms!!. Sorry this hotel does not have the good service that you expect from Bangkok. School report would read - must try harder -C (and I am being a king school teacher)

Great central location. Walking distance to MBK shopping centre (cheap shopping) Free wifi in room. Food quality was great. Good happy hour cocktail bargains. Staff were very helpful. Used tuk tuk's often. Had no problem as long as you agree on a price before jumping in. Taken to jewellery shops, tailors etc but didn't feel pressured. I love this full on bustling city. It is so alive!

We decided to stay here to have our first two nights in luxury and so we could shop to we dropped and we obviously deserved it.

Perfect location for the MBK shopping center. All the staff were lovely and the breakfast was the best I've ever seen from a 5* hotel! Loved the rustic, industrial style to the whole building, feels like an underground car park full of funky stuff. The room was great but not enough light by the mirror.

My only worry is to the fire escapes having no handles. We were only the floor above the lobby and when running late one morning, I was getting sick of waiting for the lift (which takes forever) and wanted to just got down two flights of stairs. Our tour guide was already waiting impatiently for us in the lobby and then we discovered we couldn't get out of the stair well as there were no handles I totally freaked out. Was screaming and banging on each floor until some let us out...it was very scary! Please put handles on these doors so people can have the option to take the stairs!!

Room Tip: Don't go in the fire escape and have a James bond watermelon cocktail by the rooftop pool...it's awesome.

Overall this hotel is great. From the staff to the food, the atmosphere, the location, everything. The BTS and metro are close and easy to use and there are plenty of good shopping areas close by. We were fortunate to be there during the King's birthday celebrations and it was lovely to be included in the staff celebration. There is one problem though which is a big one. The windows in the rooms are single glazed and don't seal properly. While back ground traffic noise was not an issue, the construction work going on at 2am was. This meant we didn't get a lot of sleep and did put a bit of a damper on an otherwise wonderful stay. Overall would recommend.
