Incredible one bedroom apt w washer dryer, huge bathroom....excellent service.....delicious bkfast n room service......the infinity pool to die for. The gym is huge.
There's a cross bridge right by hotel to take u to convent rd n Solon rd for mtr
I stayed at other Fraser as well, which is equally as gd. Just depends whether u want to be near silom or shopping malls near Siam.
Highly recommended for superb value

we stayed here for a total of 6 nights in March 2012 with our 2 teenage children. This option is ideal because you pay about the same price as 1 hotel room, for a large flat with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen area, washing machine, plus there is a great pool overlooking the city and a nice breakfast provided.
The hotel staff were very helpful. Our room was ready by 9am the day we arrived although check in isn't til 2.On the day we left they stored our luggage and we were allowed to use the pool and showers all day.
This is the business area of bangkok and initially seemed a bit dead, however we found some great restaurants including the Secret garden next door, and the Naj cooking school 2 mins walk away.EAT ME was also good but more expensive.Sky train is 10 min walk away. I would definitely go back

Room Tip: the rooms at the back overlooking the pool are quieter(less traffic noise)

Booked a two bedroom apartment for two nights in March. For the price we paid we weren't expecting much but were very pleasantly surprised. The living room was large, bright and airy with 2 good sized bedrooms and 2 well equipped bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked and catered for everything we could possibly need. We spent some time by the pool which was a very decent size with fantastic views and great sunbeds. Although there are quite a few apartments we had the place to ourselves. Breakfast was ok but may have been a bit repetitive if we had stayed longer.
All in all a very good hotel, well located at a fantastic price.

We stayed at Fraser Suite Urbana Sathorn for two nights in Jan 2012. At first we were impressed by the size of the suite.

It was convenient that the master bedroom has an ensuite.
Prior to visiting Bangkok we travelled in southern thailand (jungles) so we were pleased to have a washing machine to wash our muddy clothes (there is a clothes drying rack in the balcony).

I found the concierge very helpful when we made small requests. I did not get the feeling that this hotel is a full-on business hotel although it is situation in the business district. there are computers on the 5th floor should you need Internet access.

There is a small shop in the carpark level that sells a small selection of goods (cans of beer were probably more expensive that shops out there but still cheap by european standard).

The breakfast was slightly disappointing. It had small range of hot and cold food...but you could sit outside at the veranda to have your morning coffee and read local English newspaper (don't forget you are in Bangkok, it is noisy).

We did not use the pool, it seems a bit small but looked pretty in late afternoon.

I would recommend to have the hotel phone number handy as taxi drivers had difficulties looking for it on several occasions. Ask the driver to call hotel concierge for direction. It costs around £2.50 to get to 'downtown'.

This is important- the road gets VERY congested in the afternoon till midnight (esp weekend) so be prepared to be stuck on taxi for longer than expected.

There is an art gallery Thai restaurant next to the hotel, food is amazing but 'pricey' by local standard. We ordered take away for 4 and costed around £12pp (4 starters 4 mains and 4 rices altogether and we couldn't finish half the food).

We enjoyed the Fraser Suite so much that we wish we could spend more time in Bangkok and just relax in the hotel.

For reference we booked 2 months in advance and paid £75/night for a two-room suite.

Hope you will enjoy the hotel as much as we did.

I've never had a worse customer service experience in a hotel than in this one. The check in staff member, Rungwaree seemed like she wasn't even present when she was talking to me. Her eyes were rolling backwards - either way too tired or annoyed by my questions. She spoke very poor English, explained nothing about the hotel facilities, breakfast etc. When I asked about wifi she told me they charge $10 per 24hr access. I've booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was advertised to include wifi. So when I've asked her to speak to the manager of the hotel she assured me she will do that on my behalf and advise. Needless to say I haven't heard from her nor from the Manager, Warin. At the end I found out I can access the internet for free via my iPhone 4 which Rungwaree failed to advise on.
It's a shame about the customer service because the hotel is really nice and modern with a central location. They also refused late check-out eventhough I was only asking for an additional 1 hr as we had a tour that day. Customer service is really important to me - due to the lack of it at this hotel I would recommend you to stay at another place.

Stayed here whilst working in Bangkok. Very clean throughout, staff very good. Rooms are excellent and very clean. All facillities within the rooms.Fantastic infinity pool on 7th floor, and gym on 5th. Ideally located, would highly recommend.
The security at the premises are wonderful and polite. They ensure you are well taken care of, and most impressively, when you order a taxi they take the numbers and make sure the meters are turned on. Albiet the taxi drivers turn them off 100 yards down the road, but cest le vie. Still a great place.

Room Tip: Only problem is the rooms to the front elevation. I was on the 13th floor and the road noise is cons...

Stayed for 4 nights in the one bedroom executive which was very cozy and comfortable. Overall was very good and clean. Breakfast was good, everyday was a different selection.
Walking distance about 10-15 mins walk to the Chong Non Si BTS station. Sathorn road is crowded everytime.
