You can get to the hotel by BTS or MRT, just 5 minutes away. The room is big, the bed is big, the spa bathtub is also big! very comfortble! I love there free mini bar and coffee machine, it brought us every wonderful morning.

Stayed between 22 to 26 March and this is by far the best stay in bangkok in our so yearly visit.

Location for the hotel is along the main road near both the Sukhumvit MRT and Asoke BTS which allow easier exploration of Bangkok as there is more choice of transpiration. Eg like mrt to chatucak instead of BTS. There is also near by 24 hours supermart down from citandies service apartment

Room wise was great, we were fortunate that the hotel actually missed our booking and upgraded us to the corner suite and it was amazing, it was huge! With the huge bathtub, small in walk wardrobe, lovely dressing table with side sofa in that room itself. And not forget the huge bed that probably can easily fit 3 to 4 person. Amazing! Slight downside was that the room lighting was not bright as I would have like but works great. And there was also free mini bar with 4 bottles of mineral water everyday, works great for hot humid bangkok weather

In terms of services, in general, it was up to standard but just not as friendly as I thought it would be. But the staff gave great advice when we asked on how we can get to Chinatown. And they allow late checkout which was a great plus as we had late flight to catch. Lovely.

All in all very satisfied with the place. Great all round in Maduzi!

We stayed at the hotel with a 9 month old baby for 1 night and it was the best decision on our entire holiday.

The hotel has such a great location only 5 minutes away from the sky train, a supermarket and a big shopping mall.
The staff were helpfull, very good at english and very kind. We had a late flight and were able to get a very late check out and travelling with a baby this makes all the difference in the world.
The room was nice and big, the bed was huge and the bathroom was nice and big too. The only negative things we could think of was that is was hard to figure out how to regulate the temperature of the shower.
There is a bit of noise from the busy street in front of the hotel but it's really not that bad and most people are out in Bangkok all day anyways :) Our baby slept from it and so did we.

We would definitely stay here again!

Dear Khun Felixia,

We are glad that your family enjoy your stay here and get well rested after a long flight. We have notice before the a few people from Europe notice the noise of the street even with double glass window we are using. For your next visit you can request a room on the back street side so that there is less car running pass. I will look into how to make the shower adjust better.

A small boutique hotel with distinctive design and amenities. Totally great...

Our first impression is not that good when we arrive after all, the gate of the were closed, and when our car stand into the gate, the security come by and ask the driver in thai, asking why you come here for?...our driver told him, off course to stay at this hotel, and then the driver make a joke that the hotel should be named Closed hotel not maduzi.

But later we found out that its meant to give a tranquility to the property, which means, only guest and no outsider dwelling the area. which is good. because during our stay, we rarely met crowd at Maduzi. totally calming and relaxing, despite its just minutes of walk to the bustling of sukhumvit

Coming inside the property for the first time, we need to get past the bar to find the receptionist, check in was quick and without hassle, and they even asking our check out time and promptly offer to give us late check out. (which is stated in the letter inside our room that they can afford to give early check in at 6AM and late check out until 8PM if we request it before..which is awesome)...not to mention the design of this hotel is good, the owner really paying attention to every small detail

The Room, is the highlight of this hotel. totally great and spacious, with great amenities. What greet you when you first come inside? A coffee maker and minibar in a foyer, with auto light sensor that turn on when you get close, cool. Inside, everything is available to meet your need, a little working table that even completed with a fax / copier machine (My first time to see a hotel provided fax not in business center but in EVERY room).

The bed is great, comfortable, totally big in size and have nice headboard decor which made of some chips of coconut shell, and with a nice lounge chair next to the bed. The window is full glass along the wall so you can just open it and let light flow inside. couldnt ask for more, bathroom is spacious, everything provided, and even a jacuzzi is there, perfect to melt down our sore body after exploring bangkok.

And the location? straight in the centre of sukhumvit, just walk for two minutes and you are already at asoke bts and Terminal 21 mall, convenient. Behind the hotel is a 24 hour supermarket. Soi cowboy is just few minutes walk too. And still, when you get inside the property, it just feel that all the bustling of sukhumvit is gone. like some secret retreat

All the good things said, the thing that need to improved is :
The wifi, the signal is not really good and most of the time we cant do anything with the wifi. speed is totally slow and lagging
The room, especially the door is showing a sign of wear and tear, no big deal and totally normal, just that it would be better if all those scratch at the door is not seeable, though i totally understand that its leather (or PU leather) so scratch are expected

The staff? they did a great job, and after we check out, they still ask if we need transport, and the receptionist go extra miles when she learned that we are going to pattaya by telling us a few nice attraction at pattaya

The Maduzi Hotel in Bangkok is a special place for people who are put off by the hustle and bustle of the city. The moment you enter the hotel you leave all the Bangkok sounds behind and are settling in to a place that is serene. The location is perfect with MRT, SkyTrain and Terminal 21 close by. The service is excellent and the facilities and amenities are superb. You would enjoy the espresso machine in the room. If you are used to a 42 inch TV at home, you will be happy to learn the TV here is also 42 inch. You will be surprised at the cuisine in this hotel. It is truly international as French cuisine is served by a Japanese chef. The full service bar is a treat with a wide selection of cocktails, whiskeys, wines and champagne. One feature you may enjoy is in the bathroom – water from the ceiling through the jet Jacuzzi.

After a long flight from the UK we were disappointed to discover that despite being on high floor and changing rooms it was impossible to escape the noise of the busy street below. The constant hum of traffic throughout the night made it difficult too sleep and I am surprised other reviews don't mention this. For a hotel of this price located directly on a busy road you would expect better investment in sound proofing the rooms.
On a positive note the bed was huge and breakfast which is made on request is delicious. It is also perfectly located for the bts and shopping.

Dear Sir and Madame,

It is so unfortunate that you came during the street protest in January. We are happy to inform you that outside our hotel all the protesters has move on and we no longer has the loud speaker and cars moving in and out and banging music from the intersection as we did from December 13 to March 2 as stated in your period of stay. We also hope that you will come back and visit Bangkok soon and support our city. However, we would like to inform all our guests that our window are all sound proof to 90 percent. We also have a quieter room for those that maybe not use to the city noises - but won't be as loud as during the protest. Those rooms are No. 6 rooms, although is our smallest type rooms on each floor. Once again we appologise that you came at our worst time and hopefully you will come back to visit Bangkok again soon when the political crisis is over.

Sincerely,
Koravic
