Nice clean rooms. Big mirror with big table. T. V Channels just few. Toilet and bathroom clean. Shower falls like water fall...I really enjoyed it. Guest house is close to everything. Stayed in room no 302 and 402 from where I could see out the Main Street through window. It's not so noisy as said by others. There is live music on the ground floor I guess everyday. That music you hear only if you are at the restaurant of the hotel. I didn't get any music sound in the room . I stayed here wen I arrived in Thailand and while departing from Thailand. It took abt 1 hour to reach airport and I used the taxi service from the hotel for just 475 + 50 (toll fee) total just 525 baht for 2 people to suvarnabhoomi airport. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Thailand....

Room Tip: Choose room no 302 or 3 rd floor or 402 on 4 th floor if u wanna hav the view of street from ur wind...

We booked this place online and stayed here for the week we were in Bangkok.
Location: Great and within walking distance to a lot of attractions, markets, transport (land and water), restaurants and bars.
Service: Staff are polite but won't plan your day for you.
Room: Not spacious but adequate. The bathroom had a wet floor and was probably on the smaller side of adequate. Also, although booked a double, we were given twin beds. For the first couple of days we kept asking to change our room and kept being told "tomorrow", so we just gave up in the end and pushed the beds together.
Cleanliness: Although the room was clean, there was a bad smell in there (I think previous occupants smoked in here despite the no smoking policy) which clung onto our stuff.
Security: There was a safe available for your entire stay for a nominal amount near the reception downstairs. This was well used by us for documents and a tablet, and fortunately we didn't encounter any security problems.
Noise: Very close to bars and hence, lots of noise in the evening. We bought ear plugs for a nominal amount at a pharmacy nearby to see us through for the rest of the week.
Wifi: Unreliable but not too bad.
Bond: During check-in you're asked to pay a bond which is about 1-2 nights' accommodation...approximately. Make sure you keep your receipt for this as they will probably make it difficult for you to get your bond back if you don't.

Room Tip: Keep the receipt for your bond.

If you want peace & quiet at night Do Not Stay Here - However, if you came to party then this hotel is a good choice. I purposely left Sleep Quality & Location unstarred because of the former sentence as the music from all the bars and most of the restaurants is extremely loud until at least 2 a.m. every night, but it is quiet during the day. The rooms are clean but sparse so in my opinion this place is a little expensive for what you get - no fridge, no closet, no chairs and safe.

Room Tip: Rooms on the upper floors are a little less noisy then the ones below

The location is great if you wanna stay right in the middle of the crowd. The rooms are clean, but really really simple. And the shower has no door (it´s not separate from the toilet seat), so the toilet get tottaly wet after shower. The staff it´s nice, and you have to pay a 500thb for deposit for the keys. If you want something CHEAP (but without any comfort, you have to pay for the safebox that is outside of the rooms), and well located, it´s your place. But be prepare for the smell of the lobby (awfull). Ah, and it´s too noisy!

Room Tip: This place is for people who wants to stay in the middle of the crowd and don´t want to spend money...

This hotel is in a street very close to Khao San road, with also some reasonable restaurants and some street food options. You can get to Khao San by an alley, which makes it even closer. The staff is helpful, the price is good, but don't expect much. Rooms are small, bathrooms are ok. The water is hot, yet in both rooms we stayed in 2 occasions, it would loos pressure during the shower. Air conditioning worked and there is a good massage place in the lobby with prices better than the streets. Just, whatever you do, don't open the window... no view here. it is also a bit noisy at night.

I've stayed here 3 times and unfortunately I now realise that Rambutree road has become another Khao San Road so there was pumping music all night. Shame as it use to have a much more chilled feel about it and offered some respite from Khao San. The hotel is perfectly fine, you get what you pay for. Oh well.

Very basic, but clean and good value for what is offered nearby. Good location in backpacker area so plenty of taxis, convenience stores etc. 10 mins walk to grand palace, 2 mins walk to khao san road. Constant hot water, and free wifi. Mattress was very hard, just our opinion. Alittle noisy at night, but this was to be expected as the hotel is set right in the heart of things. Lots of nice restaurants and bars nearby.
