I had a great 4 night stay at the Pullman Bangkok King Power during October 2010. I found the facilities, food and staff excellent. The facilities are excellent, the food is just fantastic and the staff are some of the most friendliest I have had the pleasure of meeting at any of the hotels I have stayed at anywhere. Thank you for an excellent experience one I will be recommending to friends and family.

My partner and I have been repeat guests of the Pullman Bangkok since its opening a few years back and our experiences with the hotel have improved over the years. We mostly stayed on the executive floor, but it really doesn't matter what type of room you stay in - all the rooms are comfortably furnished; the staff are friendly and efficient; and service rendered is simply excellent. Some staff members have taken the effort to know our names and vice-versa and this only makes the experience more personal.

We took mum along for our most recent trip and needless to say, she enjoyed her stay at the Pullman very much. We had some concerns about the room arrangements - we wanted our privacy but mum didn't want to be in a room by herself. The staff suggested that we take a suite and then very kindly converted the sofa into a very comfortable bed for mum. In a nutshell, problem solved - we would be all in the same room and we had privacy in the form of sliding doors that separated the living area from the sleeping area. Kudos to the team.

The nearest metro station (Victory Monument) is a 10 minute stroll from the hotel, but for those not inclined to walking, there is a complimentary tuk-tuk (a type of Thai motorcycle-minicar hybrid) service that runs from morning until about 9pm and later at the weekends. Victory Monument station is just 3 stops from the Mo Chit station, where the famous Jatujak weekend market is located.

In short, excellent rooms, facilities, staff and convenience make this hotel truly one of the best in Bangkok.

Suggest staying on the Executive Floor level if visiting this hotel. Staff there is highly trained in providing first class service to its clients. They give the extra effort to insure your stay is most pleasant and comfortable.

We will be staying at the Pullman King Power again, next time with our teenage children. We stayed in October and checked in on the Executive floor and this is well worth it. The staff are excellent and friendly. They will assist with translation, they all speak English very well. The Executive floor will assist with bookings at restaurants, directions or local knowledge. The deal includes lovely breakfast.
The rooms are clean and spacious having all the modern conveniences any traveller needs. The BTS (sky train) is literally across the road so access to rest of Bangkok is easy. If you don't want to walk the hotel has a courtesy TukTuk to BTS station. Taxi fare to Sukimvit Road where there is lots of entertainment, eating places, is about 300BHT or less.
The King Power duty free shopping complex next door is not the best value in duty free shopping, buy it in Australia better prices
Going out of the hotel front entrance turn left and the street just there has some great eating street stalls, massage shops, and we found Tony's Tailors provided excellent service and quality at what seemed liked a good price.
We were sorry to leave our new friends on the Executive Floor and look forward to getting to know Bangkok better by basing ourselves at the Pullman.

This is my second visit to the hotel. Overall, the stay there was quite pleasant.

Although I noticed the lower level of services standards:
1. missing smiles and occasional greetings from the service staff
2. no one opening doors (which was what I experienced the previous trip)

I stayed at the Pullman Bangkok King Power hotel for 3 days during a business trip to Thailand. Thanks to my gold card I was upgraded to an Exectuive Room. The rooms was very nice with all amenities that one needs. Even an ipod docking station was available. There were 5 different pillows available and the welcome package inlcuded a gold tower, baggage hangtag as well as several vouchers for the executive lounge. choice at breakfast was very big and food was very tasty. next to the hotel there is the king power duty free mall but price level is same at suvarnabhumi airport. a small minus is that you need to walk for 10 minutes to get to next mbt station.
