Booked a 2 weeks stay at this property. Rooms in the new wing are worth paying extra for; we upgraded on the second day there.
Having stayed at many hotels in Bangkok as we visit at least three times I year I can say that this hotel goes to the new top position. Attractive, clean rooms, well maintained and with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Pool is pleasant and well kept and the 2 restaurants surprisingly good. The Japanese Izakaya is authentic, my partner is Japanese so can claim to know the real deal, and the other international restaurant served tasty Thai dishes. On day two I fell while out shopping and spent a week on crutches so I ate at the hotel every day for 7 days and didn't get bored of the food. Staff are very friendly, warm and helpful from the Front of House to the restaurant and concierge.

Room Tip: Go for a room in the new tower; nicer and worth the extra

We stayed there for three nights in October. it was our first visit to Bangkok. There were no problems of reaching the hotel by a airport taxi. it took around 45 minutes to reach there at noon. we booked a premier suite, but upon arrival, we were "upgraded" to a legacy suite. living/dining area was very spacious and the bedroom was average sized. Hotel staff was really nice and helpful. Stayed at the "old" tower. Suite was very clean including the bathroom, no complains about that...!.

concierges Boy and Pom was really nice and helpful, every time we were going out of the hotel they willfully checked with us where we were going and advised us.

Hotel location was ok. it is situated near to Phrom Phong/Asoke sky train stations as well as Sukhumvit Metro station. You have to walk around 10-15 minutes to reach those. it made getting around easy to a great extent and expecially avoid the road traffic in the morning and evening. We took a tuk tuk or a taxi sometimes when we came back. there may be some taxi drivers wait in front of the hotel and may offer you to take you to some attractions, but we did not try that.

Breakfast was nice, although you may feel there are no much choices by the third morning.... there are two restaurants you can chose between. restaurant staff were also very nice.

Swimming pool is situated between two towers at the ground level. I did not like that at all and did not think about even having a look at that.

Overall, it was a nice stay and good value for money. We would stay there again.

We started our 2 weeks trip to Thailand from bangkok and stayed at the legacy for 3 nights. I was very impressed witht the huge rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean & tidy. For what we paid we got the best value for money. The service at the hotel was excellent right from reception to room service to the staff in the dining area.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us we could take a train from the Asok station which was not very far at all.

After this hotel we travelled around thailand and came back to bangkok, but this time we stayed in a different area and at a 5* hotel but I must say it was not the same as the friendly legacy hotel. I wished we had stayed back at the same hotel.

Room Tip: we were on the 4th floor facing the swimming pool which was perfect for us

Had a wonderful stay at legacy suites. I stayed for 2 days only and was taken aback by the kind of service that i received from the property. The welcome experience was awesome and was met in person by the FOM. The bed was decorated with rose petals as i had told them that i was on my honeymoon trip. These people know how to treat a guest!!!!!!!!!! i stayed in 5 stars hotels in 2 different locations before coming to bangkok. I had my reservations when i booked legacy suites. But after staying there, i get a feeling that this was the best hotel i have ever stayed. kudos to the whole team and a big thank you for making my stay a pleasant and memorable one. My room was very spacious and comfortable. the hotel is near the ASOK station and this makes commuting within bangkok easy as wel

We stayed here for 2 nights. Having never been to Bangkok before (and having heard the city is very noisy) I was worried that finding a quiet hotel was wishful thinking. I have a lot of difficulty sleeping if there is any noise from traffic etc but even though our room overlooked the hotel driveway I slept very well. The staff were very kind and helpful and a number of them speak very good English. The location was good for us - sky train 5min walk, much easier to get around than by taxi as the traffic is heavy. I enjoyed the gym which was more than adequate (many different cardio machines, free weights, weights machines) and everything worked perfectly except for the tv. We would not stay anywhere else in Bangkok after such a great experience.

We spent 3 days in this wonderful hotel and I'm sure that it was the best variant in Bangkok for this value. The room was big enough and had all the thing we can need while travelling. We stayed on the 7th floor in the new tower with nice view of the city. The location of the hotel is good (only 10 minutes to the Asok BTS). The breakfast was not very varied but pretty tasty The stuff of the hotel is really awesome, they immediately solved all our problems and needs (special thanks to Choo). Will be glad to come here again

The good stuff:
This hotel has a lot going for it. The location is great with only a short walk to either Phrom Phong or Asok stations. The staff are really helpful and friendly.
The pool is ok and a good place to relax.
The rates are attractive and it is good value. Breakfast is adequate but not elaborate.
The bad stuff:
Our non smoking room was clearly on a floor that included smoking rooms - so it was pretty stinky in a smokey kind of way. We moved to a less smokey floor. The air con in our new room emitted a wet buffalo kind of smell but I was too shy to ask to be moved again.
The reasonable prices do attract a younger crowd at times. A roudy group of guys moved into the room next door to us...... came back at 4.30am and had a loud party until breakfast time. They checked out later that day, thankfully. Unfortunately, a new group of loud girls moved in next door that evening. Luckily, we checked out the next day. Perhaps we were just very unlucky.
So.... lots of good things to say. Great staff, good location and generally clean and pleasing. But if you are fond of a restful sleep..... perhaps try elsewhere.

Room Tip: If you want a non smoking room - check that the one next door is not a smoking room.
