“My third stay here this year”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 September 2013

I recently stayed here 1 night, in the old Tower. The rooms are roomy, wi-fi fast, staff service is excellent, great bed and bedding. We were very pleased with our stay. My previous 2 stays were in the new tower--I prefer that because the rooms are newer. I haven't given an excellent rating for location because it's a 5 minute walk to the nearest convenience store, the property is set back off of Sukhumvit which means there are few meter taxis passing by, and there are few places to get food nearby apart from the hotel restaurant. I enjoy eating barbecue, fried chicken, and papaya salad from street vendors and the nearest place to find these are on Soi 33, that 5 minute walk I mentioned, near the 7-11 on the corner. The rooms get a very good rating because my old tower room wasn't as nice as the new tower rooms. This property clearly deserves it's high ranking among the hundreds of Bangkok hotels listed here. The hotel's quality is consistently high, and after my third stay here, I can safely say I will be staying here again!!

We stayed in the old tower of Legacy suites for 5 days. Room was big in compare to other hotels and staff members were very friendly, internet was fast. Try to book it in new tower; it is a lot nicer than old tower. It is located on lane way (Soi) you won’t get disturb by traffic or other noise. It is good hotel for family but for young couple you can find fancy hotels near train station for same price (try The Continent Bangkok, may be smaller room but next to MRT & BTS stations and food is awesome).
We found that Breakfast Buffet at Legacy was bit ordinary and same food everyday (apart from Asian dishes). It is not real international breakfast buffet. You won’t get wide varieties of breads, pancakes, cereals, yoghurt, grilled tomatoes, real coffee etc. It is very simple breakfast buffet. It doesn’t have rooftop bar and restaurant.
Location of the hotel is good if you traveling with taxi but if you want to travel by MRT or BTS then you need to walk. It is located around 600-700m from the BTS & MRT. In the Bangkok heat that distance seem very far when you have shopping bags and other items to carry with you.
Overall we were happy with our stay, however we will chose other more convenient location (next to train station).

Room Tip: Room in new tower at the same price is highly recommended.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. Beautiful rooms, great location, incredible service. We stayed at here for a couple days and then flew off to Phuket. We came back a day early and needed somewhere to stay in Bangkok. Unfortunately, they were booked up for all their rooms except their largest ones. Since we were on a budget we told them we wouldn't be able to stay any longer. I began looking up other hotels and one of their employees, Chuu, was nice enough to help me call other hotels to check on availability. When the hotel manager, Gift, learned of this she came over and asked how she could help as she didn't want us to feel like we had to go somewhere else. She arranged for us to check in to a room once other guests leave and helped us stay within our budget. They both went our of their way and provided exceptional service. The rest of the staff was amazing too, so friendly and nice. We plan on returning to this hotel on our next trip!

2MovingTheChi enjoyed our unpreviewed stay at this property. It was our first time in Bangkok, which can be daunting, but the staff was courteous, helpful, informative and polite making our arrival at the hotel welcoming.

We took a taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport and arrived at Legacy Suites around 10:30 a.m. Turning off Sukhumvit Road, the short drive down Soi 29 makes you wonder where you might be staying, but once you turn into the Legacy courtyard, you will feel much better.

The hotel has two towers. The older tower to the right is where the front desk is located. We were greeted with warmth and graciously allowed an early check-in. Choo, our bellman, escorted us to a superior premium room 556 in the new tower.

The room was spacious with all the comforts we expected which included a king bed, small table for dining, a small kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, a sofa, wide screen flat panel TV and a work desk. The modern bath had both a tub and a shower, hair dryer and a nice assortment of toiletries. A small wall unit next to the entrance door activated the electricity in the room when our room key was inserted. There was also a small safe in the closet. I loved the Do Not Disturb feature, which was a button underneath the electric activation unit. It is much better than hanging something from your door handle.

Other hotel features include the outdoor swimming pool, indoor workout area, and business center in the main lobby.

Breakfast was included each morning in their all-day-dining restaurant, Chillz. It was a nice buffet with an omelette station. Coffee, teas, juices, breads, pastries, a soup, sausage (chicken not pork), pancakes or french toast, six or eight hot dishes, sliced fruit and salad. More than enough tasty food to start the day.

The BTS (Skytrain) is a short two or three block walk to Phrom Phong or Asok stations. If your a shopper, next to each of these stations are large, multi story shopping malls (Emporium at Phrom Phong and Terminal 21 at Asok).

Night life abounds in Sukhumvit. The famed Soi Cowboy is near the Asok station off Soi 21. Looking for a massage, no worry, they can be found all over the place. We ended up using Health Land for our massage, a large professional facility featuring 2 hour Thai massage for only 500 Bhat (around $15) located only four blocks from the Asok station.

Our Legacy Pros: The hotel is clean; the staff is warm, helpful and friendly; it is situated in a good location off Sukhumvit; it is quiet; food service is good; strong water pressure in the bath with plenty of HOT and cold water. Two complimentary bottles of drinking water are supplied to the room each day. Choo, the bellman, is an asset to the property. Look him up if you stay here.

Our Legacy Cons: Our room had a strong, unpleasant odor. The internet was very slow and frustrating. The blowers for the air conditioning pointed over the bed, which irritated our sinuses. All of these might be solved with a different room.

Legacy suites is just 7 mts walk frm Asoke stn on Sukhumvit rd. It's in middle of 2 shopping malls Terminal 21 & Emporium mall 7-10 mts walking. We styd for 3 night's in their new tower. The aprtmt was nice & cmfortable. Our room was on higher level so had gud view of all bldgs around & the skyrail. Brkfast at hotel was ok nthg great. This was included in our pckge but it was weird that if you wanted a room service for it they wud charge for it. Never heard this bfre. If you're a vegetarian & looking for Indian food there a lot of rests around but i would strongly recommend Saras, this is just across the street in Soi 21 i guess. Soi cowboy the famous nghtlfe attraction also is wlkg distance. We rqstd for late chckout as our flight was late bt they ask to vacate by 12:30 pm. They shudve been more cooperative. But location is perfect & rooms r cmfrtble.

Room Tip: Choose the rooms in new tower & ask for higher floor.

Legacy Suites is conveniently located just 10 minutes walk from the intersection of MRT with the Skytrain Asoke/Sukumvit station.
Breakfast is very good and the rooms are spacious and equipped with state-of-the-art communication tools.
I also appreciated the tranquility of the place which is due to the fact that the hotel is located in a backstreet of busy Sukumvit road.
There is a very good gym, too.

I stayed with my family and found it is clean, simple and has good staff which is perfect for family stay. Swimming pool is also nice. They may improve their service if they add some kids activities. Also they may have a travel desk though there are some drivers all the time in the gate whom we found gentle and reliable.

Room Tip: No spa in the hotel, so don't expect. Most of the rooms are clean for city trip better check wit...
